Econolight not showing the 150watt hps vapor light

they need to sell hundreds of these at a time to keep selling them so cheap. i said it wouldnt last this sucks well somebody has to make those fuckers so lets see if we can find another dealer! even though alot of people buy these from riu.com its not enough to make it worth their while ya know??

im guessing that we will have to find another source for this great great product!.. If I was going to spend any money on a 400 watt hps I would use www.insidesun.com again they were great the first time..

More or less the 150 was a great product for its Price 20.00 usd and its use's seeing to be an all around great stealth light... boooooooo

Well ebay still sells that pendant vapor tight but its listing for auction starting at 40 bucks plus shipping... shiot... its made by hubbard lighting int. Im contacting them to see how much it would cost to buy 25 of them... let yall know@!

great idea i might buy a gross as well! great to get a pallet full and share the savings with riu.com users!!!!

Im setting up a grow and my space is right at 3.5 X 3.5. Has anyone seen a complete package that looks better for the money than this one. It seems like a pretty good deal with both the HPS and MH Conversion plus the reflector, decent ballast and free timer. What do you all think?

i think 165.00$ usd is a great deal for the whole setup with both bulbs might not be able to beat that.

htgsupply.com has pretty nice prices on lights, hell they got nice prices on almost everything they sell. Id recomend them, fast, reliable,and nice people.

econolight gave you the wrong info it wasn't lack of sales I called and spoke to a couple people until I got one that knew what they were talking about.
The answer is they were both so cheap because it was closeout stock all this time. They finally sold out of them, that's it, end of an era. They aren't even going to carry HPS lights any more of any type.

There may be other large scale wholesalers that you can get a similar deal through but it's going to take some calls and emails and a lot of searching to find them.

Yea I agree that the htg 400 is the way to go, that $100 whatever dollar econolight makes no sense... econolight does have a 400w PSMH that would be very desireable at $85 or so in the high/low bays, the one with the wire frame over the light. Better than hps or halide or a combo of both and ideal as your only source of light for veg and flower if you can't afford multiple lights to get started.

not all hope is lost fellow farmers. let see what happens here. i just put a request in at trade key for, hps lights, hps light kits, greenhouse lights, led lights, led greenhouse lights. Before they closed the plant down and before growing i was planning to take my home off thre grid and looking for cheap solar. I came across them. They put you in contact with manufacturers from all over the globe. I was getting quotes for 2.52 per watt on solar panels. only problem is you have to buy in quantity. came out to 302 per 120w panel compared to 550+ in us and ebay. lets see if i can come up with anything cheap for our little green stinky buddies.

psmh=pulse start metal halide ... good for veg no good for flower just like any other mh wrong color for flowering i dont think anyone should use mh to flower unless you have to! better off with cfl. all mh nugs i have seen were pretty bad

Yup yup always been told and read and researched that the mh are no good for flowering.. great for veg... but hps can sustain veg and kick midget ass in flowering.!!

CfL as good as they are can only densen up the bud so much... From experience I had alot better results with 250 watt hps then 400 watts of cfl... as I say again from my experience.. im not a pro so some may differ

no doubt homegrown i cant wait to finish up these cfl nugs so i can get some hps in there and use my cfl rig for flowering my clone moms! i am pretty happy with the cfls so far another month and the nugs should be pretty big!

The SonAgro bulbs for the hps are the best, they give u 30% more blue light spectrum, so they are very nice for both veg and flower

I recomend for everyone

sounds good i like the idea of mixing the gasses im sure soon they will have hps/mh hybrids 50/50 but trust they will be pricey!! but worth every penny! what do they put in a sun agro to make it more blue?? is the glass coated??

Im not actually sure how it has more blue light, but the glass isn,t tinted.

On the econolight page, couldnt we just buy a mounting fixture for like $12 and buy the lamp seperate for like $6? Or is it a completely different housing unit? I just bought 2 lamps last week.

this would be a bracket and a bulb ---no ballast ,mag, or cap!
