mONEY DOES GROW ON TREES IT IS GREAT WORKIN OUT GREAT FOR US THANK GOD WE CAN JUST PRINT MORE MONEY AND GIVE IT TO THE BANKS THAT WAY THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE CUZ THE BANKS ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE WE CAN JUST KEEP TRACK OF THE PRINTING BY ADDING IT TO OUR DEBT AND OTHER COUNTIRES WILL BUY OUR BONDS FOR EVER NO MATTER WHAT BECAUSE WE ARE AWESOME AND WE BOMB EVERYONE SO IN CONCLUSION IF WE JUST MAKE MORE MONEY THEN EVERYONE CAN HAVE SOME CUZ BANK OF AMERICA SAID THEY WOULD GIVE ME SUM SO I CAN FEED MY 19 KIDS AS LONG AS I PAY THEM BACK BUT I WILL JUST ADD IT TO MY DEBT AND DEAL WITH IT LATER CUZ LATER ILL BE RICH WHEN THEY GIVE ME MORE MONEY FOR BORROW AND I CAN JUST PAY IT BACK WITH THAT MONEY AND AS LONG AS I KEEP GETTING LOANS I CAN ALWAYS PAY DEBT THANK GOD THIS ISSUE IS AGREED ON BY BOTH PARTIES IT IS THE SMARTEST THING TO DO AND WILL DEFINITELY NOT HAVE ANY NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES IM TAKING QUESTIONS.

Pretty good post lifegoes Only thing is that other countries aren't buying our debt (Treasuries) most countries are selling theirs off. 80% of all treasuries produced by the USA are purchased by the Federal Reserve. Its called monetization of debt.

But otherwise I think you have the idea right of what our country is doing and the mindset some people must have, but I also think most people don't really notice, all that financial jargon goes over their heads and they just latch onto whatever flavor of news the MSM has drummed up, whether it be a naughty General who likes hot women, or the fiscal cliff hype, or whatever.

I like correcting people who say we owe China such and such trillion dollars. It is always funny. The same people usually have never heard of the Federal Reserve.

Most of our countries debt is to the citizens & corporations via goverment bonds. But china makes up a good 1.3 ish trillion

the fed has bought why like 38% of the debt
