What's new, is dr. J's is providing less than 1mg THC when claiming 100mg. I understand quality control issues and slight fluctuations in %, But these guys are clearly ripping patients off, some people need the medicine and pay good money. It's one thing to inflate your prices and be a rip off, but it another to deprive a patient from their needed dose by lying about the contents. They are hurting people. That's my beef.

Also i posted it because I think it provides helpful information to the consumer that might seek out a company that exceeds the label MG claims. I know what companies I will buy now and continue to support. Growing kitchen is one I have alway stood behind, and I'm glad to know they are honest. I don't particularly like the price of thier hash, and don't think it's worth it, but the edibles like the choclava is a great deal for 200mg.

Terrible, though as unfortunate as it is, this trend will continue I fear. It really doesn't take long for greed to take over, profits are higher when there is 1/100th of the prized active ingredient. The business model that surrounds high-profit industries has always been "Fuck you, I got paid". I fear what we get in years to come when big pharm gets in on the mix personally.

My house came with a kitchen so I'll just continue to make my own. I never trusted Bayer and I didn't get AIDS, I won't trust these guys and I'll continue to enjoy genuine meds that I trust because I made them myself.

Legalization has its ups and downs.

Good lookin' on the heads up

Good luck,

Thay

Something like "..The Surgeon General has tried and tested and found acceptable that the levels of THC in this product is a true and fair representation of the fact from "Warning: The Surgeon General Has Determined that Cigarette Smoking Is Dangerous to Your Health". ...but nothing is gonna happen until the feds buy into the program ...lol

My friends were very disappointed with the "100 mg" edibles mentioned here. Cheeba chews, otoh, have been very consistent, and excellent per reports.

The price on edibles is pretty high for what you get, assuming it even has the full dose. Knowing that most are below by this much is ridiculous.

I've had a few bars of the cheeba chews and they seemed consistent from bar to bar. No idea if it was actually 100mg but I was satisfied with them. Also had a couple of the mile high mint bars (the ones that tested way over in the article) and they seemed stronger as well. So I'd stick with one of those if I had to get something.

Haven't bought any since I started making my own butter and dont plan to again, especially after reading that article.

Perhaps the state should use some of the retail recreational tax for better regulation of the MIP manufacturers. Perhaps simply mandating an in house lab QC test of each batch to ensure consistency and quantify contaminant levels. This should be done on any extracts imo.

All that tax money will be mis used Probably? Maybe to create more paychecks a for useless gov jobs. God I hope not.

It most certainly will be misused, I saw an article where the LEO's were sayin they needed something like 45 mil of the tax money to bust people not following the new rules...get real, they need it because without busting cannabis smokers they have to cut piggies from jobs.

Pretty sure it won't make it that far as Hickenlooper kinda stuck it to them with his proposal, allocating I believe it was 5 mil to them.

I just hope they at least keep some of their word and put a chunk of it into education, but who knows, lots of greed in the world.

I wonder how many people tried a bunk edible their first time only to ruin it for the legit edible companies.

I went to dispensary today and the strawberry cough crunch bars that used to be 100mg now say 25mg on them for the same damn price. I guess rec has increased demand in such away that they think they own the market and charge whatever they want for a quarter of the medicine that it used to contain.
