What chapters would an educational series on growing for the MMMA need to contain?
Please give a chapter title followed by your explanation of what it would need either as a paragraph summary or a list. If you have ideas for media (youtube, paper based, flash based, or existing materials) include those after the content. Thanks!!

Hi. If you've watched oral arguments to the Supreme Court in Michigan (http://www.michbar.org/courts/virtualcourt.cfm) for cases regarding future medical marihuana precedent setting opinions, maybe you've thought that the High Court could use an educational session on growing what would be called 'medical marihuana' (perfect, specific effects, targeted bud growth as opposed to weight (not sure how to word that, but 'quality, top shelf').
It is not bad that they are not familiar with the process, but it does impact their ability to be swayed by prosecutors or defense attorneys. Additionally, if a defense attorney doesn't know some of the basics (like when a card expires in Michigan) then some arguments might never happen, such as "for such a mild drug, doesn't a valid card representing a visit within 2 years constitute bonafide? If that visit was to a doctor specializing in MMMA certs and the visit was valid, then couldn't self-dosage options and quantity amounts have been discussed at detail given the doctors area of specialization?"
The court has much larger concerns to society to weigh in on - and I think they know this. However, they will be hearing cases that are driven by a desire to legislate the future of the MMMA through criminal prosecution. Prosecutors are saying that amounts possessed are not amounts within reasonable medicinal usage expectations. As a caregiver, I see myself as always needing 2.5 at minimum in case I get a phone call from that patient, or if something bad happens in the garden. Some caregivers could reasonably need more than that to supply the uninterrupted access they are tasked with providing. For instance, a one gram joint every 2 hours could equal....plan for the +/- and you can see how some patients will require a caregiver in spirit only and will always require a section 8 when quantities inevitably exceed 2.5
In short, they need to be informed, but not by some guy in a dingy basement. The entire series would have to follow a perpetual grow with maximum numbers of plants to produce minimum quantities and also scenarios for patients with maximum usage needs. Optimally, the series would include actual footage of pest infestations and other 'worst case' happenings (time lapse of extended power outage?)
Thanks, anything used will get some sort of acknowledgement if anything ends up being assembled. Ideally, I'd see some sort of brief given to an attorney to use in an upcoming argument when the opportunity arises, but realistically it will just make another fun thing to talk about. Any legal input is of course appreciated as the series could be structured to lean toward specific defense strategies.
