Eek Mould!!!!

Hi guys, got back this morning to discover disasterous mould on about half my buds.
Ive quarentined all all the effected buds and cut off the white bits, on top of that have moved all the stash from jars to paper bags as they were doubtless a lil too wet (or is it simply that they didnt get enough burping, I stayed at my girlfriends last night, so they would have gone about 6 hours longer than normal without air). the mouldy buds are in a seperate bag in a seperate room - are they gonna be salvagable? (all mould is cut off and I did get to it pretty early).
will the other stuff be a write off too (am aware there are prolly mopuld spores all over all of them)
please help, I spent 4 months nuturing these babies on my window sill, really didnt get a massive amount off of them so would be devistated to loose it all at this stage.

Bumpty bump! guess noones answered cos there so much online about this already - just wondering if I can get away with cutting the (small bits) of mildew off the bud, dry it out a lil and then rejar - tell me what i wanna hear people!!!

You are right, they were too wet when you put them in jars.
Whats left will be fine, I would air it out on a screen for a day then go into bags, keep it in the bags for three or 4 days, shake the bags twice a day to uncover whats on the bottom. That works for me when I get mold.

Thanks mate - got em in bags now, I've spotted a few tiny bits of white, but most of it is clean, with a slightly musky smell. Is there still a risk that it could be carrying dorment spores still? and if so what kinda health risks would that carry.

you can get pretty sick from smokin moldy bud....it causes some lung issues. Read up on it

If its drying its stopped growing and you should be able to cut out most of it.
I agree smoking moldy bud can get you real sick, but then again, I'm sure everyone has smoked a little bit in the past.

Don't expect to donate it to a dispensary, they check for the mold spores and they will find them.

If you make hash with it, like bubble hash, when it burns it will still have that musky smell but you will be rid of the spores.
