Are you plugging it in and giving it a few minutes to fire up? Make sure it is 100% plugged in at all it's connections..Good luck JR

yea sometimes mine takes a minute or 2 to actually turn on. try un plugging and plug her back in and just give it a few minutes to warm up.

Check the wall socket with a tester, 5$ at the big box, has 3 leds on it. If that's OK than swap the breaker with another one if that's OK it's your light. TURN THE POWER OFF!!! Always turn it off when working on it. Have them check the capacitor in the light to see if it's faulty.

I recently rebuilt my ballast with a kit from HTG supply and after having done all the wiring and stuff myself, my first guess would be that it may be your igniter in the ballast going out. It's one of the 3 main components in the ballast and what it does is ignite the bulb so it can fire up and use the power supplied to it. I honestly have no idea how you would test each individual component in the ballast, but a rebuild kit may be an option to consider if you can determine that it is the ballast itself going bad. Hope that helps a little. Peace. =)

-On a side note getting a second bulb to rule out it being the bulb itself would be a fairly inexpensive thing you could try if you don't already have a backup bulb to try.

Did you try pouring water on it? Sometimes that will get it to work.

I'm kidding dude! The above posts are the solutions to your problems. I was just thinking what would be the WORST thing you could do. Pouring water on it came to mind. Or getting a chair and pissing in your main panel..

Just be safe.
