Electrical question: DC power to my fan

I have a 12VDC Comair Rotron Major (235cfm) (http://skycraftsurplus.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1353) with terminal connectors. The specs are 12V 2.26A.

My question is, how can I power this thing? I've looked at thrift stores and Wally world and the best I can find is 12V 1.3A. I know that I cannot go over 12V, but can I use a power supply with a lower amperage like the 1.3A or does it have to be equal or greater than the rating on the fan? Most 12V AC/DC adapters I've found are well below the 2.26A specs, close to 600-800mA. I'd like to avoid ordering a new one since it's likely to be so expensive. Any ideas?

BTW, I found a few 12v 2.5A adapters but they're a little spendy. If the Wally world adjustable 1.3A adapter would work, that would be nice because I use lower voltages to regulate fan speed. I just don't want to burn the block down. *sigh*

Wow, that's a high output (235cfm) for a 12V fan, maybe you could use a computer power supply, it is 12V, cheap, and should have more than enough amps to run a few of them.

It seems the Rotron fans have a great rep, are super cheap for the cfm rating, and I can say that this one is built like a BMW. I just need to get it running!

The fan is 27watts, FWIW (12v * 2.26A = 27.12watts).
