Electrician references Needed

I am in need of an electrician to upgrade the service to my home. Does anyone know of a certified electrician that is mmj friendly, and hopefully somewhat reasonable as well? It would have to be someone certified since the power company would have to come out and do a disconnect and reconnect when the job is done.

I needed some wiring fixed up and upgraded in my garage. I kept lying to the guy(bc I'm paranoid as hell) about what I was doing exactly but pretty sure he knew what was up. He was a cool dude and kept talking about smoking and growing weed and was for sure legit.

I kept distracting him talking to him about video games and weed and shit so it took him a lot longer to do his work but he still only charged me what he quoted me.

I found him on Thumbtack, The Wolf Home Services LLC.

Depending on your municipality - you can do the work yourself and just pay an electrician to inspect it...way cheaper because it only takes 5 minutes of their time.

I considered it, and have no problem with doing the work. My real issue is making sure I don't have a problem with the power company. My neighbor converted a couple of places to 400amp service and was saying something about having a long down time. Since I actually live here I just can't have the service off for a long time due to what amounts to a procedural issue.

I installes a sub panel a few years back to run some basement circuits and my jacuzi bath tub upstairs.

Ran the wires, installed the panel, THEN killed power for 30mins when I was ready to wire the sub panel to the main panel.

No inconvenience.

Just be careful.

Yea, I would have no problem with that, the work itself isn't that hard. I need to replace my main panel inside, my disconnect outside, and possibly add in a sub panel. Doing the disconnect outside requires the power company to come and pull my meter and reconnect it when I am done. I would also have to run a new main from my outside disconnect to my new fuse box because the current wire is only rated to 60 amps. From my understanding all of this would require inspection before the power company will reconnect my service.
