Im using 80 kwh per day average on my electricity bill. My bill is twice as much as my neighbors. I have about 7 weeks left in flower. I just bought the house 3 month ago and built the room as the first week i moved in, so my power bill has always been high since I lived here. What you guys think? Am I fine, or should i try and make some changes?

Mine went from under a hundred a month... To around 4000. As long as you pay your bill there is no issues

I wouldn't worry. You don't even have a consistent consumption that they can compare it to for review. just pay ur bill on time they don't care they are just there to send and provide you power as long as your paying for it they could care less what your using it for

Youre ok twice as much isn't a big deal... Never had a problem with it ever.. However the grows were small, under 5KW.

There are so many things that could use high power. Bitcoin Hashing, Welding, Hot Tubs.

Odor is a problem.

I still would consider evaluating your house, does it have LED lighting, could you use a gas dryer instead of electric.. etc.

This one client I worked for, I rigged up a clothes lines so they could dry laundry to minimize the usage of the electric dryer. Useful in the summer months where electricity should be less than the winter..

Nice! Thnks for all the info. I have a pretty big carbon filter but I can already smell a odor escaping the room. What is the best way to hide the odor before they really start budding?

Ozone generator in exhaust ducting in combination with your carbon filter----if you think it's bad now--gonna get a lot worse when close to finish.

Try to have negative pressure for your room.

A little off topic but Ill answer

You literally have to take many steps in my opinon to control odor.

-Absorb odors with a carbon filter.
-Disguise it with ozona or timed aerosols
-Control your air, your growspace should be negative pressure.
-Destroy odors with ozone. I like to add ozone to any exhaust air that is scrubbed. It is irritiating in low concentrations, do not get the idea to use it in the garden, it will damage your plants. However the chemical smell is a bit suspicious.
-Reduce the odor, if you can dry and process somewhere else.

Here's the kicker, the smell gets into your clothes after doing your thing in the garden. My truck reeks of it after doing my thing at the greenhouse, so thats something to consider.. I KNOW i get sideways glances when I go to the quicky mart to get a sodapop.. carry a bottle of cologne in your ride.. I'm partial to nautica myself.. :)

Depending on the legality in your area determines how severe your controls will have to be.

Thanks GGW. Not legal. But super stealth. Thats why I want to uphold the stealthness with odor control . I have a cross base house and it had 10 foot so i built a room under there completely sealed. I have a carbon filter scrubbing, but I can tell thats not going to be suffice when they really start going good. the only place that the odor will escape are the vent thats are in the foundation of my house (the little black ones that you can open and close). I thought about just putting some odoza or something similiar sitting on each of those from inside up under the house.
