Elephant "13" (Purple Elephant x G-13 BX2) - Hazeman Seeds Test

Good Question OldLuck; I want to get some amber and I think I saw some amber heads yesterday; but never got back to them.
I been busy with work; so in no hurry. lol

Still I'm pretty sure at least one is coming down Friday or Saturday.
Friday is 10 weeks.

I could pull them now and have some really good 'up' type smoke if you go by the trichs.
I use for pain relief mostly; so I want some couchlock out of this if possible.

Here are some pics I took @ 56 days,
I was poasting these in a thread about grow ops and got carried away with the names...
I did the flush on both of them and then stuck them back into my bloom.

I'm at 68 days and took pics a couple days ago of these beauties.
They are still budding out toward the light growing buddettes from the kola and other top buds.

The popcorn buds are huge - all the buds are huge on these.
Trich production is very high and looks promising for end product.

Okay as I think back I cut some stuff off the bottoms at around 30 days bloom and it got me messed up.
So yeah - this is going to be killer weed isn't it?

Anyway I'm about to go check the girls out so I thought I would get caught up with the journal before I come back with the harvest.

64 Days - Help! I've fallen and I can't get up:

That's the A plant above - The B plant is below:


If I was keeping one of these for further testing I would go with the B plant on sight alone.
Looks like better trich production than the A plant.
Hard to say until I smoke test.

I wish I could keep more plants; but I can't and these must make way for next test.
I got the seeds though man. It's all good.

Arrrgh! I screwed up a bit.
Was dusting some other plants for seeds and didn't take care to prevent pollen from reaching these two.

I ASSumed I would be cutting these down before any pollinated stuff started producing seeds.
I was wrong, and let them go a few more days hoping for the amber on the trichs.
Never happened. No amber at 73 days bloom cycle when I cut both down.

BUT; the smoke is pretty darn good according to a couple friends who sampled it for me.
The buds are not very tight; but they are huge.
Without the seeds the end product would have looked much better; so I feel bad that this is all I have to show.

So there you go. It was a fun grow until I realized my goof-up with the pollen.
I want to grow it again soon, and I have some stash seeds to try this again.

For now I want to call this test unfinished.
The seeds performed great - the operator not so much.

It amazes me what a big deal people make out of a few seeds! Before I started growing my own, I was very lucky to be able to get a bag without seeds in it and it was still $40 a 1/4. It will smoke just as good (long as you pop the seeds out first LOL), and you do have the bonus of seeds to plant for a new crop. You did a great job and those are beautiful buds, seeds or not!
