Eliminating Pollen

Hey guys. My last grow went hermie on me because of a bumped timer that went un-noticed for a week during flower. Gettin hermies sucked, but I am now set for feminized lemon skunk (dna) for a very long time. I now need to kill off any pollen in and around my grow cabinet. My question is, will a bleach and water solution kill pollen? I'm pretty sure that it would because bleach kills almost everything, but I would like confirmation from those with more experience.

Bleach and Water will definitely kill pollen, Ive been told water alone will kill pollen. I personally wouldnt go as far as bleaching stuff. I would like to hear some more opinions on this though.

I did consider just wiping everything down with water, but I want to make sure no pollen survives. My next grow is an autoflower seed run and I do not want to ruin the genetics with a photoperiod plant's pollen.

you will love this strain!!!!! my avatar is dna lemon skunk about 5 week in. and yes a light solution of water/bleach will rid the pollen. be sure to get all your fans, that shit will get everywhere.

Anyone know how long pollen can survive on it's own? I mean does it die on it's own after a certain length of time?

After I clean the cab between grows, I give it a spray with water and bleach. Great way to sterilze just about any environment, can't go wrong.

just plain water will kill it. it will die within days at room temp. faster with warmer temps.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm gonna use a mild bleach solution and wipe down everything. And Dart, I do love this strain. Very easy to grow and smells almost like fruit loops during flower.

What ratio did you end up using with your bleach/water? I am in the same boat and have to get my surviving child back in it's PC Case home ASAP. I have to clean this shitty pollen out ;/
