Emergency chop!!

I am in need of serious help and quick:!::!: i have been having issues with those nasty little spider mites and i am finally losing the battle BAD:wall:. I have been using diluted vinegar and rubbing alcohol :fire: with water to battle this mean creatures and it has been working excellent up until recently. I know there is other stuff on the market but funds are nonexistent at this point so buying something is out of the question :dunce: The bud hair is 3/4 golden brown and has receded and are very frosty for their age. Trichomes are all cloudy and have no clear bulbs at all. About a third to half of the buds are starting to get covered in cobwebs and if i do an emergency chop (even though they still have 2 to 3 weeks left) with a dry and cure will the Spider mites ruin my potential small harvest while they dry and cure:?::dunce::?:

Specifics:
600 watt Lumatek digital ballast
Fox farm Ocean Forest
3 gallon Smart Pots
General Hydroponics 3 part (Micro, Grow, Bloom)
Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy
SuperThrive
Calmag

Last two pictures are the future of my grow. The small 5 plants are under a t5 and 3 of them are a strain from nirvana called SuperGirl the other 2 are Querkles. In the picture with the vertical bulb is a 250 watt CFL with 2 northern lights in one gallon smart pots. If i missed anything please let me know as i am open to any suggestions and constructive criticism :bigjoint:

So sorry to hear about the mites!! Here it is "winter" and I was hoping it was too cold for them. It's probably late now, but for future reference I understand garlic keeps them away (little vampire pests) and I plan on planting garlic in my garden with the girls. You could try breaking up some cloves of garlic and hanging them in the plant and spreading it on the top soil - but I dun'no 2 weeks left I'd probably do what you're doing and chop 'em a wee early too. Sorry I'm not any better help. Other posts mention that spider mites will crawl to the tops (stems) of the buds when you hang them upside down to dry though -- at least there's that.

Ha i wish it was to cold for them but its 80 in the room that they are at. I am almost positive that those plants had at least 2 or 3 when i got them (clones) because i sterilize everything with ammonia before i even think about using it plus i do have a pest prevention plan when i get them but obviously didn't work and those bastards can reproduce like a MOFO. I have to give them props for being so damn vigorous but they don't have to be such a damn nuisance. hopefully it will still be decent. Tonight is the last night they will see light then 3 days of darkness. I have heard it helps but if it doesn't what could it hurt anyways?lol

fog them out, but then again you said spend no more money.

That is an unfortunate situation, try to let the room get real dry and that got rid of them when i had them, which was a very small infestation

I only could wish that it was a small infestation. These lil monsters exploded over night, and now it looks like somebody took a white spray paint can and freckled every single leaf! It is a massive infestation to say the least.lol. But i have SuperGirl, Quuerkle, and Northern Lights lined up so i am not very dissapointed it just moves my schedule up.lol. This is my second grow but they have been from seed (Mauwi Wauwi, Sweet Island Skunk, and a very hard hitting indica) So it will be my first time with great known strains. Variety is the KING

Hey Thanks for the advice IXOYE! +rep All the spider mites did crawl to the top of the stem and i am about to murder them all so i can get this stuff curing and smoking.lol. Has anybody ever heard of the Nirvana strain Super Girl? i am growing it right now but am interested in what the final product looks like. I have looked it up numerous times but keep finding the same thing over and over, plus with sum lame picture that you can barely see

Bump!:eyesmoke: So today im able to work in the garden for a few hours and get things fixed. Currently i have 2 Querkles and 3 SuperGirls in a 10 gallon rubbermaid bucket because i was not expecting them and did not have soil for all of them in smart pots. Since i had to chop early on the two girls the schedule has moved up!bongsmilie I also have 2 Northern Lights in one gallon smart pots waiting for me when i get everything cleaned up and ready to go. I will be vegging them with a 250 watt bulb and here is the link.http://www.hydrowholesale.com/itemimages/FelizlightBOX_red250watt.jpg:blsmoke: I like the idea of the CFL because i will be able to put the bulb in the plants if i wanted to since this thing runs so cool .lol. The Northern Lights plants are way ahead of the others since they are in smart pots already, and vegging under the 250 watt. The Others have been chillin under my sunblaze T5 96 watt 4 bulb 2 foot light. Im trying for a perpetual grow since that is the best way to do it but just need to get my timing right. I hope to have this all sunday so all my pictures and a big update will happen. Here are the girls. first pic is the 2 Querkles and 3 Supergirls. 2nd pic is the Northern lights

If you've got spidermites you're going to have to find money.
Even with 3 different sprays, i can at best keep them at bay.
I had them so bad this summer, you could watch them crawling
on the webs they spun around the buds.
After disinfecting my entire house this october, the first four clones i put
in the veg room, i'll be goddamned they had mites!
Neem, Azamax, Organicide rotated every 4-7 days for two weeks
and it's still a battle.
Neem works great in veg, under cfls but later in flower, it's harsh
on buds.
This summer, i'm fighting bugs with bugs!

Good luck

Good news i acquired some funds and got some great stuff for the plants. I picked up a quart of Ed Rosenthal's Zero Tolerance for pretty cheap. Then tomorrow im picking up concentrated Azamax to rotate every 3-4 days. I have figured out my plan for what im doing my next round :hump: With the 7 plants i have (3 SuperGirls, 2 Querkles, and 2 Northern Lights) I am going to attempt a Scrog. I have seen many grows using this technique and i feel that is the way to go with the equipment i have currently. When i move in july into a new place i want to change it all up and go vert with the under current current culture system. Pictures tonight when i get things cleaned up and donebongsmilie:joint:
