Came home from work today and saw these two holes in one of my leaves. i was like: whhhhhhhat the heeeeelll???? What can be causing it?

_DSC6204.jpg_DSC6205.jpg_DSC6207.jpg

Could it be that my MH bulb does not have a glass and that too much UV light is hitting it? or Too close to the bulb? i have it at 10 inches away from the foliage with a steady 72-78 degrees between the bulb and plant.

Shes 5 weeks old but on the 3rd week of veg. I only feed her Once a Week with nutrients using the Roots Organics 5ml Master Feeding Schedule: http://www.aurorainnovations.org/AuroraInnovations_MasterFeedingSchedule.pdf

I doubt is Nutrient Burn, but what do i know, its my first time growing. any tips and advice is much appreciated.

Since noticing them, i raised my bulb 5 inches away. Also, can it be that i'm not spraying the foliage enough?

Meh.. who knows.. I would bet the farm it is external (stray hungry stink bug, accident, who knows) and has NOTHING to do with the plant it's self nor will even matter.

Looks like bug damage, if you don't see much more of it I'd say you're in the clear but keep a lookout.

bugs usually dont eat so uniformly like that. that looks like tearing from growing too fast/change in pressure inside the cells/stress.

my leaves have some tears from either heat stress or nute stress, cant pinpoint it, but it was one of the two.

as mentioned, inspect them closely, especially under the leaves, and if nothing found, no problem. i say your plant is fine and looks great. GL

It isn't nutrient burn or direct light burn. Picture 1 and 2 if you look very closely look like water droplets focused and burnt your foliage. So don't get water droplets on the foliage (it's like burning ants with a magnifying glass). Image #3 looks like mechanical damage. Like someone accidently folded the leaf back upon itself and it tore there. It does not look like pests or nutrients.

Now I use insecticidal soap on my plants as prophylaxis against critters. Every 2 weeks at lights out I spray Safer Insecticidal soap both over and under the leaves. It also helps clean the leaves too. I apply this until my last 4 weeks of flower. Every friday during those the plants previously sprayed with soap get plain water. They love it and it makes them look WONDERFUL!! Now my humidity is 20% or less. So I am safe spraying at lights out. If you are in an area of higher humidity spray 1 hour before lights on.

Oh and PS this isn't an emergency LOL It's a mild irritant at best.

thanks for all the comments and advice. Much appreciated. Will keep a closer eye on them, see if its gnats, plants stress, or other things. But will definitely consider all your comments.
