Under this legislation, we will see continued arrests for possession, growing and selling; harsher penalties, ranging from 14 years to life in prison for various offences; no pardons or amnesty for Canadians with criminal records; continued dispensary raids and arrests; and a new reefer madnesspropaganda campaign.
How is this “legalization”?
Legalization has a long way to go before we can actually feel completely legal, but methinks Jodie is just looking for publicity while she tries to keep their business. I don't blame her, but she is no better with her reefermadnessprofiteer campaign. Her claims don't pass the sniff test.
The only possession charges will be for carrying over 30g (a fine, not criminal)...still bullshit, but hardly 'continued arrests'.. Growing 4 plants for personal use is allowed - follow the rules and you have no worries. Selling without a license will be a crime - just like selling booze & smokes - get a license to operate a store. The max penalty I have seen is 14 years for selling to minors - and that will never be used. Most people don't get 14 years for murder in this country - there is NO cannabis 'crime' that carries a life term.

Huh? Not likely. You know how quick the shit would hit the fan when the number of plants you can grow depends on your economic standing? 4 plants per residence stands.

3rd reading is on June 7th, and if it passes...the Bill should be signed into law by the Governor General the week of June 10th. As soon as she signs (royal assent) Cannabis possession (and cultivation of 4 plants) will be the law of the land.
Poision Cannabis sales from the current LP’s will come into effect whenever they can get the shelves stocked? Quebec and Manitoba will have their diks slapped in court on day 1 for trying to abolish the 4 plant home grows. Fed law trumps Provincial, and the Justice Minister has already fired that warning shot to those provinces.
Truedope will make his self-imposed Cannabis Prohibition v2.0 deadline of July 1st/18 with time to spare.

Not all of you, but some of you need to see the good and not the bad, 2100sq ft micro grow can produce a lot of cannabis, that is roughly 100 Gavitas. 200 pounds every 2 months, or 50 pounds every 2 weeks.
If you are smart and creative with spending, 400k can probably get you up and running. This is not bad at all.
My suggestion to all is,
A- start looking at legitimate investors or means of money. Can you mortgage a property, money in savings, rich friends, pooling with a collective of fellow growers. split 2100sq ft down the middle with a fellow grower now you only need 200k each.
B- start looking for legitimate properties, not some shed on your residential lot, but look at industrial units, old farms, property not close to schools or daycare (remember ballet and karate classes are considered schools)
C- set out plan and budget, get with any contractors, suppliers, etc etc, find out timelines and budgets.
Make your move. Don't be greedy, Grow good weed. Freedom 35!
