Yes it's pretty heavy, took two ppl to bring it in from the garage. If I had to guess I'd say it's around 60 lbs.
After I germinate and put the seeds in a solo cup do you guys think it would be OK to put them under the light if I knock it down to like 25% power or is that still too strong? I see most ppl say put them under a cfl first but I'd rather not setup a second light for just a week or so. What light schedule is best for newly sprouted seedlings?

I've been running my seedlings under the CXBs just fine. 400-600w ~600ppfd or so
Major consideration for the solos is the root zone temps. They'll be alright but they'd be much better if you can burry the cup in a bigger pot of wet dirt.....which kind of negates using the solos...... Keep the roots cool and they'll grow much mo betta

Your plants look great! How far away do you place the lights from the newly sprouted seedlings?
I started germination yesterday and am hoping the seeds sprout quickly so I can plant them. I am already feeling impatient, lol. this is my first grow ever!
I was looking at the best way to mix my nutes. I was thinking about buying a 2 gallon jug so I could do 2 gallons at a time. For this grow I'm doing 6 plants but could do as many as 12 plants in the future, always in 5 gallon pots. What size of batches should i be aiming to make for each watering for 6 plants? I was thinking 2 gallon batches because it'll be easier to pick it up and shake it but it's gonna suck if I have to make multiple batches everytime I feed. Any tips here are appreciated as I am still researching and doing a ton of reading about different ideas for this.

Umm.... I moved lights to about 40" away. Just make sure when they start showing radiant temps are not too high....mid 70s are ideal.
Nutes....I'm using loaded soil so I shouldn't need nutes for 4-8 weeks depending... I do water with extreme gardening Azos and a little bit 200ppm of kelp from age old organics once a week.
Ohh once your plants are 6" tall or so get used to always adding cal mag often.....LEDs suck up cal mag in my experiences.

So I think I messed up my grow already

Now I'm reading you should premoisten the soil and then plant them and only put a little bit of water to keep the soil moist. Unfortunately I full on watered them, I went slow to make sure some water drained out the bottom but I'm fairly certain based on what I'm reading I might have already killed them. Any advice on whether I might be able to save them? These are my feminized g13 pineapple express seeds, they were not cheap so if I can save them I'm going to try. How long should i wait before giving up on them? Most threads I read said up to 7 days but one guy said his seed sprouted after 3 weeks
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I haven't actually weighed it yet but I would guess around 60 lbs. I bought a gorilla grow tent so I wouldn't have to worry about the weight as much.
While I got your attention I'd like to thank you for your YouTube videos and DIY threads. The knowledge you and growmau share inspired me to build this. Thanks for putting in the time to make the community better and more informed!
So after pushing the lights up to about 70% power I've seen a big increase in heat production. My rooms temp range right now is 68 - 82 degrees which is making me concerned about generating additional moisture that could cause problems. The heatsinks are pretty hot, you can touch them without being burned but they are warmer than I thought they'd be.
Is this normal or is there something I can do to reduce the amount of heat being produced? Right now I have one vent on my tent open for air intake and one pushing it out. I tried opening a second vent but noticed I was no longer get creating negative pressure in the tent so that could be a problem when I'm in flowering.

My oscillating fan blows on my cobs and plants. Even a light breeze will make them cool to the touch. You need more airflow for the plants and cobs.
Your plants probably aren't that big yet. 50% is fine for now anyway
Did they all sprout now? How they lookin'
5 of 6 sprouted, I don't think the last one is going to. I think they are looking good so far, but am not really sure due to inexperience. I've attached a pic I took today for you to check out. The leaves are a little more yellow green as opposed to a darker green so not sure if that's normal.
Right now I have 2 6 inch clip on fans but I think they suck. I was trying to find a decent fan that wouldn't take up floor room but havent been successful so far. Do you have any suggestions for better fan options? Or better ideas other than a clip on?

Can you do one of the 16" wall mounted fans? Just put up a 2x4 to mount it on if needed. Use that oscillating up top and that should keep the leaves in a gentle constant motion.
The seedlings look fine. They're still pulling nutrients from their baby leaves so just make sure you're not over watering and you'll be fine. If you really want add1/3rd strength grow nutes to a spray bottle and foilar feed them right before lights out.
Was thinking about something like this and hanging it from the ceiling but am not sure how well it'll work once by scrog net is in place

Main thing is you want the leaves in a gentle constant motion. Too much isn't good and no air is bad. Ceiling mount would be fine facing down. Just make sure is has a very low mode.
So I was thinking about it and I'm wondering if it would be best to put the fan up top near my filter blowing down on the plants? Wouldn't that just be pushing the heat from the sinks into the plants?
Would it be better to put it like 15 inches off the ground turned upside down (angled slightly upwards) so it's blowing air at the plants but also pushing air up past the light towards the air filter? That way the heat from the lights would be pushed up and away from my ladies. I would make the fan adjustable so I could move it as they grew. If you think there is a better height to place the fan I'd be interested to know.
Other relevant info: I have a vent at the bottom of the tent where air is coming in from the negative pressure generated by the fan pulling air from the tent and venting to outside. I am going to mount a 16 inch 3 speed oscillating fan.
Any input is greatly appreciated!

@Enak11 I finished 1 of 3 500w beast I'm making and I first one was 20"x36" now the others will be 18"x36" so two can fit in a 4x4 tent/ or grow area
this one is 10 CXA 2 Studio 5600k 36v BD @1400ma on 2 HLG-240H. I used angle aluminum and rivets for the frame
I tested it after an hour then plugged it in to a meter and it read 609w from the wall
