Stupid to kick him off, i don't like the show ... but that's bullshit freedom of speech is in the constitution! i think if everyone had the balls to stand up, this would not be an issue, like the kid who wore an anti obama shirt and they kicked him out of school.
NOBODY AT ALL NOT EVEN THE GOVERNMENT. HAS ANY RIGHT TO TELL YOU WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT SAY.

You should really understand the constitution before you start expounding about it. It protects you from governmental persecution from what you say. Corporations have "personhood" in America and it goes back to as early as 1819, it was also brought up in a case in front of the supreme court in 1856 in regards to the 14 amendment. There are plenty of vehicles for him to have his say, just as it's an employers right to not be apart of what he says.

If I have a right wing employer and find myself on the news with a company shirt on expounding liberal views it's that employers right to fire me. Atleast in non union right to work enviornment. I won't even charge you for that lesson but will expect a thank you for imparting a little knowledge, even though I know I won't get it.

You're right, and I feel like I've said the same thing about ten times on this site since the topic first arose. People refuse to learn, they will continue to cry free speech, facts be damned.

As soon as you get hired by a company, they have the right to tell you what you can and cannot say or do... and if you don't do as they ask, they have the right to fire you.
You've been employed, right?

Does an employer have the right to fire you over 'offensive speech' on an employee's facebook page?

Answer seems to be "it depends"
