Also not claiming to be a master gardner by anymeans either just trying to help a guy out.
If he asked me that today I'd giggle and explain why I didn't think it was a good idea but had he asked me that a few grows back I'd have said "fuck buddy I have no idea let's give it a whirl" I mean its edible to us right?!

We all make mistakes and we all make advancements from them we can all share our successes and failures and learn from eachother.

I mean shit look at all the sweet shit that's ever been discovered by accident and odd experiments. I wonder how many useless plants were consumed before they found weed I wouldn't call that guy an idiot would you lol or breast implants imagine how rediculous that must have sounded at first now I can't keep my eyes off those things

For the record caffeine has been used as an herbicide; it is known to be detrimental to the growth of plants. A quick search would easily get you the background on that, and for anybody who is actually interested in anything Google would be the place to start.

I mean, any serious grower wouldn't start doing random stupid things with their plants like pour soda, or fruit juice, or do any of the other ridiculous things that some people suppose might provide some kind of a benefit or improvement in taste or what have you without having or attempting to acquire any real background whatsoever. Do people really just assume that plant physiology and soil chemistry all play out in the manner that they suppose it does in their fantasy land? "Oh yah I know there is carbon dioxide in the soda so it must be good to irrigate my plants with...and with the phosphoric acid: ya that'll make it great for pH down. Then of course there is the caffeine, which must be good for plants in and of itself because ppls are always talking about how good coffee grounds are and thats like totally the same thing." Mmmm kay.

Also for the record: caffeine is water soluble. People use fresh coffee grounds to make coffee, and this extracts much of the caffeine from the grounds (because it is in your coffee). What remains is excellent 'brown'/carbon containing organic matter, good for composting and vermicomposting.

lol really now.. wow..
Yes urine is an excellent furtilizer if you know what you are doing, lots of N, and its usually sterile. Research has shown that feeding tomato plants urine gives them a tremendous boost in growth. You can certainly do it with marijuana plants to, but most people don't for simple reasons.

And hey if you ever end up hiding in the closet with your mother during a drug bust, urine could save her! ;)
