Enough DO?

Just wondering if this setup is going to generate enough DO. There's a 250gph pump pulling from the bottom and pushing the water out of 1/8" holes in 3/4" pvc on both sides of the tote. I'm trying to get away from air stones, hoping this will work. Any thoughts?

That's literally the best way you can aerate a container like that. You will have more than enough DO.

Mind showing a few more pics of how you connected through the plastic wall?

I've wanted to do something like this. But am more inclined to use sprayers heads and the drain as a return to a whole res for 3 of these totes. I love those sterilite totes. Really too bad they started using stupid yellow lids now. I wish I'd bought more when they were available.
I even took a pic of em one day while there. All yellow lids now.:(IMAG0029.jpg

It will depend what you intend to run that on. If that's a single site you will be good.

Glad you think so! I've seen a lot of your posts and you seem to know your stuff when it comes to DO so I was hoping you'd chime in. I got that pump specifically to be able to pipe it outside of the tote. I have a 2 tote + res system I'm putting together this week so I'll get some more pictures of the connections and stuff on that one hopefully by this weekend. I'm really diggin' these totes, but yeah, wtf on the yellow lids?! I covered the top of the one I'm using on this tote with hvac tape.

I'm using this as a starter spot for two plants. 1 pic the day I put them in, 1 pic about a week or so later. The idea is to have them spend about 2-3 weeks here before I give them each their own tote.20190429_175504.jpg 20190419_205531.jpg Gave them their first topping a couple days before this pic.

I tried that once.. roots were completely tangled.

I like the mini rdwc system for starting clones best.

I'm literally doing the same thing next upgrade but will be aeroponic. One res probably 30gals or so. All connected through a manifold and in to each tote with a PVC structure like yours but just a few sprayers. I'll connect all 3 through the bottoms with drains that lead back to the res.
It'll turn on probably 2 minutes every 10.
That way the submersible pump I'm gonna use doesn't have time to get hot and whatever heat it does build up, will have time to cool down over the 10minutes.
Or some combination of intervals. I'll have to fiddle with it.
