Enough Light?

Looking to light a 8'x4.5'x6.5' room with an actual grow space of 6'x2.5'. I was thinking 2 400W HPS and 1 400W MH. The MH would be in the middle of the HPS's. So, enough light or should I bump it up to 600W all around? Would 600W increase the yield? Thanks guys.

That's why I'm asking, I had an idea but didn't know what was to much. You think maybe 2 400W would be better? I just want to get the best amount of light for that area. Also I'm going to be running the MH and HPS at the same time, this is just a flowering tent.

65 watts per square foot will raise anything - if you know how. 80 watts per square can rocks flower. If you can handle the heat get 'em in the kitchen. You area could use up to 2500 watts and grow pure sativas. Go big to grow big with air, containers and lights. Now what about air?

I'll be bringing cool air into the tent as well as probably 2 oscillating fans in 2 corners. A question though, I was looking into getting some Straight 6 Reflectors and running a fan through them. Is that even right? And then another fan bringing fresh air to the tent. As well as a fan pulling the air out. Haha idk man I'm planning far out to get the best plan laid out. Don't be afraid to tell me I'm totally wrong.

I've got a 6x5x7H closet. I use 2 400's on one wall that is about 5'x 2.5'. it is plenty of light. I have DIY cool tube for them. If I didnt have the cool tube it would be hotter n hell in there. I have a 4" inline just on the lights and an 8" inline pulling air from a vent in the ceiling. The closet is about 5 degrees warmer than the outer room. Oh also there is a 4'x 6 bulb T5 and a 2'x 4 bulb t5 on the other wall. T5's are cool compared to the HPS but they do add to the heat.

Ok, so I'll plan on using a 6" inline to cool the lights and then an 8" inline to pull fresh air into the tent itself. Do you think 1 8" inline would be enough to pull all the air out and into some dead space where I would use an ozone generator to neutralize it?

My fans vent thru the roof, thats a pretty big dead space lol. if the doors are closed there is no smell leaking out. If the closet and room doors are open you get a hint of smell. I guess it would depend on the size of the area your are venting to if the ozone thing can keep up. dunno never had one a those.

don't ever use a light mover in flower to double the space you are trying to cover with a single light. complete waste. that space is perfect for 2 400w lights. i know you want the MH for a mixed spectrum but it is too much and will increase your cooling needs and will also probably not fit inline correctly considering most hoods are 26-30" long anyway. if you want to mix the spectrum then hang some 43w grow spectrum (6500k) CFL's right in the canopy. that will give you a much better distribution of mixed spectrum and a lot less heat to worry about.
