Enough Light

I currently have a wooden box that is 20" x 20" x 40" (LxWxH). I was planning on running a 150 watt hps that pushed out 16000 lumens. The total sq footage would come out to 2.77 sq ft.

i would get about 5760 lumens per square foot.
Planning on doing a sog with about 16 short plants planted in small containers.

Will this be enough lumens for my total grow area?

Ideal lumen output is between 7009-10000 per ft2. Even though you are near the threshold I would say go for a 250 hps or at the very least add some cfls to get it closer to optimum.

thanks for the reply. what if I was to perpetual harvest, would the different heights of the plants effect the yield even more. I will be adding cfls

Anyone there willing to help? would light distribution from a 150 watt hps while doing a perpetual harvest be enough?
