enough to keep 4x4 warm at night?

If anything I would get a dehumidifier - those temperature ranges are not bad. what does your RH tend to reach that has you so frazzled?

if you have to heat it then that heater would be more than enough to heat that small area. I bought a heater for my room a week ago but ended up adjusting my light height which let me fine tune my temp without an additional heat source.

for real your best bet would be a dehumidifier those night temps are not bad at all and will help with humidity a lot better and probally use a lot less power I wouldn't put in a heater unless it was like 60 or less.

night temps are are 65-68 with the highest rh gets at night is around 55-65 depending on outside conditions. in unfinished basement. then day time gets to about 79-83 with rh ranging from 35-45.%

2nd poster is right. A dehumidifier might cost a bit more up front, but it'll do a better job at lowering RH and save you money over time in electricity. Those ceramic heaters are usually like 1500w and probably overkill for a 4x4.
