Enough ventilation??

Hey all, im currently making a cabinet grow box, I have put holes in the shelf that is connecting the carbon filter to the extraction fan, which will be on top. I haven't got a jigsaw so had to use my drill, is this enough ventilation to be able to connect the two, via ducting and duct tape seal?? Thanks in advance.

Sorry now I zoomed in it’s a little thicker than I thought so a sheet rock knife will be a little difficult to get through that. You probably going to have to make Swiss cheese like Corey said above

Dude make a circle, drill holes along that circle line next to each other and leave as little material as possible.
Shouldn't be hard to get a decent hole that way.
