I have entered the flowering state the new world. I feel good with my veg. experience. they are at 30 strong inches at seven weeks. I cant get any more veg growth because there is only 16 useable inches left. They are very strong no burning or bugs of any type.I am using the general hydroponic nutes program and wont this flowering state to be as successfull as the veg. Any suggestions on the best flowering nutes or any hydro flowering secrets or lighting suggestions. thanks from a nube

I would suggest sticking with your current nute schedule that got you this far until the plants stop stretching. During stretch, they still need grow nutes more than low-nitrogen flowering blends. Some experienced growers argue against using "bloom nutes" at all... I tend to agree, others will burst into flames over that. But, I do strongly recommend sticking to your current program for awhile, possibly another 3-4 weeks. Yes, your plants will be flowering, but they will be putting a clear majority of their energy into additional veg growth at first, and "grow nutes" have plenty of P and K for flowering anyway. You'll see what I mean soon.

You're at 30" now and really only have 16" of headroom left..? Whoa... Your plants are on track to hit at least 60" in height before they settle down and totally focus on flowering. You might want to check into some info on LST, Fimming, or check out the "bushmaster" product (it's something that stops the stretch phase.. some ppl swear by it, and claim it shortens your finish time by a couple weeks. Haven't used it personally).

I don't know shit about hydro specifically...can't help there. What are you asking when you say "lighting suggestions"... supplemental lighting? Distance? Bulb type?

K is right. Start learning about LST. On the nutes, while I won't burst into flame (LOL!), I do think that since you are on the GH hydro nutes as I am, you should follow the nute schedule they suggest on the bottle. You just switch to an emphasis on the flower nutes by volume but still use the veg nutes too just not as much. Since you are so close to maxing out I'd be tempted to only give them a minimum of grow nutes. The micro has plenty of N so you might want to switch to just micro and bloom.

On the secret formule side of flower, I use Botonicare's Liquid Karma to add some sugars and other support vitamins. Tried it with and without and with is better. Much bigger buds this time around. One is the size of a beer can and I'm growing bag seed on this grow. You doing something right but that doesn't mean you can't learn to keep doing it right.

No wonder they are doing so well! With that power you might want to concentrate on using LST to spead it out so the lights pentrate as deep as possible. I use LST to control height. I hang something heavy from a string or tomato tie at the top of the plant or sometimes tie it to a node lower down on the plant. Looks like you are all set up for a really nice crop.

this is my last pic at 5 weeks
That's some nice herbage... and you've got some serious light going on there. With two lights going on, you should be able to spread out laterally for more room (that's where the LST comes in..). Good luck... looks great.
