Just wonderig what the cheapest option is in terms of enviroment control
My grow tent 1.2x1.2 is going from 14c to 32c... I only want a basic one to plug a heater into and an extractor but not sure about brands etc


Any help is appreciated

Yes, sounds like this is what you need, just with your plugs :-)

This unit has a schedule on it so you could technically set day/night temp differentials. I just keep mine at 74°F and I'm happy

yeh... think i need to swap my 5 inch fan out for a 6 inch... luckily i have one already

seems reliable enough... it has a little battery in case of power outtage so the settings and time is saved.

it has a cool/heat toggle, i have it set to cool, so when the temp goes over 74 it'll turn on. i currently have it powering on and off a motorized damper. so when the temps get too warm in my room, the damper, which is situated on the negative side of my blower, opens. the damper lets in cold fresh air until the thermostat, located upwind from the damper, turns of the damper and the damper closes. it works like a charm right now.

the heat toggle does the opposite, it would turn on a heater when the temp goes below the indicated setting.

i originally bought it to control my AC, because i needed a remote thermostat for the unit.


i'm really happy with this little unit, and i would get another in a heartbeat.

Yeah... have a look on youtube for a tutoiral they come in 12v..110v..240v

some do just one function on and off others do many more

as used by homebrewers and fish collectors

For your setup I'd go the heat and cooling option

so you may need to wire it up to a pair of wall sockets

and plug fan to cool the other for the heater

hopefully have a 2.4 x 2.4 room soon and will be running 2 vertical 600...
