Environmental problems . Humidity issues!?

Ive grown 9 plants in 1gl pots, in a 2x2. It gets crammed, but no issues. All of my environmental factors are on point. I have two 100w lights that heat up the space to 80f and rh drops to 40. Lights off, temps at 68f and rh sometimes hits 70. No mold or bud rot, because high rh doesn't last long. Its only an issue if high rh is a constant. Fan and filter/exhaust run 24/7.

How long did the grow take from seed to crop though? I'd imagine the agressive training to keep the plants a reasonable size for the space would add considerable time?

I have clones on stand by. If I recall correctly, I vegged for two weeks, then flipped. I can shorten the veg time to one week, or 3 days, by simply having bigger clones.

More plants in a given space generally leads to shorter cycles because they don't need to grow much in veg.

The way growers of bigger plants get around this is by having a pre bloom veg area that allows us to get them bigger while the previous crop is finishing in the bloom space. This does require moving bloom ready plants but there are strategies to minimize that risk and make the job easier.

Since I specialize in larger plants, I've built a setup that allows me to move six foot tall x four foot wide plants very easily from place to place. I've even put them in the back of a pickup and driven them to another location!

I totally get that if you are growing from clones, but growing from seed and if you don't have space for propagation and segrigated growing zones, it's not so simple

Damn man that’s a helluva yield from such a small space and light.. good job!!

current crop looking nice, should probably yield you close to the same from the look of it.
I currently have 6 crammed into a 3x5. it’s TIGHT in there and I’m dealing with humidity creeping on me but have tons of circulation.
I won’t come close to the same gram/watt or sq ft that you’re pulling on that setup, I’ll be lucky to pull 1g per watt. The bud will be QUALITY, but for some reason I can never get them to really fatten up since I switched to LED..

I know I’m on the lower side of watts per square foot at 32w/sq ft., but from what I understand I’m within reason before starting to need to introduce CO2, etc., which I’d rather not get into. From the above post, Farmers Hat is using 100w in a 2x2, so only 25w/sq ft and pulling 2g/w…. I don’t think lack of light is the issue with them not chunking up. I dialed my humidity and temps in perfectly this run (up until now where humidity is starting to creep) and didn’t seem to make much of a difference beside vigor of growth.
Honestly I’ve just accepted it and I’m happy with 1g/w of quality buds at this point, obviously 2g/w would be nicer

Get a par meter. You'll know exactly what ppfd you're throwing at the plants then.

Less light means more grams per Watt but not more yield or necessarily better quality. For those you need more light.
 
Well I guess I was just overthinking . Anyhow the plants seem to o be doing just fine , what do you guys think ? 2025-02-28 (1).jpg
