Epsom salts

I have epsom salts but it says "epsom salts pharmacy" and talks about puting it on wounds on directions. It still says magnesium sulfate on front though. Can i still use this for my plant. The top leaves are more light green in the middle and have a dark green outline. I heard this may be from mag. defficiency. Anyone know?

just flush if in doubt but yeah think dark green in centre and light to lighter green workin outwards is mag,almost sure mate,and epsalt from chemist fine just desolve it it a bit ov warm water first,u can also get liquid epson salts from ur local green hydro potting shed but stuff from chemist does same job hope this has helped think dosage about some say 1/4 tsp per gallon some say as high as 2tsp per gallon,ur colouring ov leaves is other way about to mag def here a link for plant probs if uve not already been there http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688 dont quote me on anythin ive said just check it up first cos swiss cheese memory me might all be made up whos knows take easy and stay safe man happy farming
