Hey everyone i'm really excited as i have finally found the time to do my first proper grow I've helped a few other growers out around me, but only by simply watering them and fertilizing as instruction and i decided I'd have my own grow for alot of bud Anyway after quite a bit of research i just want to run it over with the experienced to make sure i have my setup correct I'd have the following:
Will be getting a 1000W soon
Light: 400w Phillips Son-T Agro - 54,000 lumens
Reflector: Ablite 2000
Ballast: 400 JB Ballast

Tent: 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m (4'x4'x6.5')

Exhaust fan (connected to carbon filter): 6"/150mm Inline 40W 400CFM
Carbon Filter: 150mm x 500mm
Intake: 1 X 120 Sunon Case Fan
On Light (no tube):
- 1 x 100mm (4") eziair (21W, 220V, 2550 rpm - EA-IF04)
- 1 x 125mm (5") eziair (21W, 220V, 2400 rpm - EA-IF05)

Timer: HQA et-12

Nutrients: Dutch Master Gold Grow A&B1

Seeds: White Widow
Pots: 4 Gallon (15 L)
Soil: Canna Coco Coir OR Canna Terra Pro

Questions:

1. Do i need holes in the bottom of my pots? Like do i need to flush then completely during growing or only after if i plan to reuse the soil?

2. Canna coco Coir or Terra Pro Suggestions?

3. Everything look alright?

How many plants are you planning on having? Ive never grown indoor soil but im sure you have to have drainage holes in the bottom of the pots otherwise the water will just sit in the pots and saturate. Just make sure your house is big enough for the 1000w light, you dont want to tip off your electric company.

Yes, drill holes for drainage. Don't reuse the soil. Flush 2 weeks before harvest or if you make a boo boo during the grow.

400 cfm little overkill. Loud, yes. Buy a $20 speed controller

400 watt perfect. Buy a nice HPS for flower

Coco in the pots. As many holes as you can drill in them without dirt falling out...seriously

i relized i didnt need the exuast so much in my set up it was over kill and dosent need to be ran other than to lower temp and refresh air the carbon scrubber i dont need to use untill in to flowering no smell really till u flush and start to dry and i'm not familar with your nutes but sensi grow and bloom products are designed just for cannabis growers it can be used with soil to its an a&b 2 part mix and it has extra advanced nutes along with them like B52 BIg Bud over Drive and bud candy baby that white widow

Thanks @Legallyflying You reckon a (200cfm) be alright with the 150mm x 500mm Carbon filter instead of the 400cfm? without the Controller?

Contactor/relay to plug into the timer - You cant safely use a 400w HID plugged directly into the timer.

The timer is (30 amp switching/10 amp running) 240V Are you saying i cannot plug this into the wall in Australia and NOT have my 400W work , is it just dangerous, ive already turned it on to make sure globe was alright?

Also, never reuse soil. You're just begging for pest infestations if you do.
