yeah this error thing is certainly going to make people smoke more weed due to frustration.

I just left for 2hrs and came back hoping the problem was fixed. Im disappointed.

I just hit reload(F5) when i get the error, it should resend if your trying to post a comment so you dotn have to retype it. Before you send a message copy it and if it doesnt send go back paste it and try again

Its because the server is getting flooded with so many people visiting it. Either a lot of people have recently found RIU or its getting Dosed DDosed (server getting attacked)

lol thats the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. thats not a reason for a MY SQL error. the main reasons for SQL errors are typically as follows:

1) The MySQL server isn't running.
2) MySQL's configuration file specifies that it is only listening on a certain IPort and that you're not communicating through the specified address (i.e.: Your MySQL server's system has multiple NICs and you are communicating with the server through the NIC not specified).
3) You have the MySQL server is being started with the --skip-networking option enabled either from the startup script or in the .conf file.
4) The user name being used to authenticate to the MySQL server is not allowed to connect from the client computer's IP address/host

my sql has nothing to do with how many people visit the site. not to mention earlier there were only like 276 people on the site. it can definitely handle more traffic than that.

I use SQL in my work. They are having database issues. Everything we type is stored in the databases. When we log on and go to a thread, we're utilizing the database. The database is having issues with how many people are looking at once. It's just a little software problem, i think.

not too much anymore. used to a lot when i had a job which required its use. now i dont have that job.

hell yea, about time, im glad i took my break from RIU or i prolly wouldnt have a laptop cause i was pissed an about to throw it thru a damn window
