Damn bro, you ever thought about LED? Get yourself some HLG600R units and save 40% of your hydro asap. They will easily pay for themselves in hydro reduction in no time. Also your yield will be better than HPS and higher quality. This from experience switching from HPS to LED (HLG).
Edit: oh I forgot bulbs too. I was spending 400$ a year on those for HPS. Now I do not ever need to do that.

Your yields must be insane. I get 4-5lbs every time now with ~1400 watts I can't even imagine what you get! I've been thinking I need to expand to include more CBD though. That's just the THC side of my burn.

Funny you say that. I just started like 20 CBD plants.
I dunno I haven't had a run yet in the big shop yet.
In my tent which getting about 1.5lb/ 750W light. But that's avg some cultivars are better some are worse. And I also switched to organic at the same time so still figuring that part out because I am having problems with my plants fading early snd stuff soooo.

Yeah all depends on style too and veg period. I do flood and drain 30-35 plants with 2-3 weeks veg and topping. At least two strains and surprisingly consistent yield. I need a bigger space that is my problem.

With regards to CBD I have just been suffering through arthritis (osteo) in my back and never thought about CBD. Well I grew some for my neighbour, she made salve and I tried it. It worked so good I did some research and found there are CB receptors in the skin. Totally going to grow CBD and make salve now. Can't believe how well it works. Even though I grow tons of weed and have smoked and ate it for pain I never thought of giving any creedence to the CBD lotion claims. Man, was I wrong.

My mom has had her MMJ card for years. She was on all kinds of opioids like a dosed out housewife my brother talked her into CBD (she was resistant, you know weed stigma etc).
Anyway she quit the opioid garbage immediately. And more importantly it was actually effective in managing her pain. She started telling all her friends and they all got their medical licenses.Crazy really.
once all my THC needs are met I am going to start to devote a section of my grow to CBD for mama.
My buddy gifted me some seeds called hurkle CBD.

The only issue is that the duration could be longer. Lasts like 30 minutes and then need to re-apply. I wonder if anyone knows how to make it last longer. 2 hours would be awesome.

Have you tried lecithin? It's supposed to increase uptake and bioavailability.

I just purchased critical cure CBD. How did your mother take it? Orally/smoke/topically or all 3? Any special preparation?
Yes use it for edibles but not sure about topicals. Wondering how to make topicals last longer, maybe just make them stronger...lol -- -maybe this is where the UVA bars from HLG are gonna differentiate meds.

Oral, sublingual, holds it there for a bit then swallow. She buys it off some fuckin place in BC.
I recently made Rick Simpson oil. So my plan is so to make some for her with the CBD plants instead and see how that works.

I think you need above 3% THC in any CBD strain for it to be considered medicine. I made CBD Simpson oil out of hemp and it just made me dizzy.
