Ok so after jester88 pointed me at his girls threads I had a lot to learn about making my home made teas, ta jester88!
So here goes a grow mix, using ingredients from my £20 wilkinsons shop. with the new info I have.
any major garden center will have all this, just use a spoon. (If making loads use scales)
Ammount of spoons/ stuff
10 - Chicken poo
3 - fish,blood & bone
2 - bonemeal
1.5 - epsom salts
2 - Sulphate of amonia
1.2 - Sulphate of potash
1 - black treacle
1 - Seaweed plant food
Just leave out some if they only 1 or 2 spoons, still b good. I add 1 spoon garden lime for soil.
Stick all but chicken poo in an old saucepan with half contaner of water, cook on low heat for bit.
pour into container, add chicken poo and shake.
mix with water and feed ya babys.
And the confusing bit............
Some primary nutrient content guides in elemental ppm for N-P-K-Mg, I found.
Mell Frank's Insider's guide, (strong light) / MJ Growers Handbook by pH Imbalance
Nitrogen (N) 250-350 200-250
Phosphorus (P) 70-90 60-80
Potassium (K) 150-250 150-200
Magnesium (Mg) 50-60 -
N-P-K-Mg elemental ppm 348-98-253-70 250-85-217-61
So lookin at this we can get the main elemental nutrient targets for my nutes,
Mell frank's N-P-K-Mg ratio, 4.97-1.4-3.61-1
pH Imbalance's N-P-K-Mg ratio, 4.1-1.39-3.56-1
lets use em both and take an average in between the 2 and clean up
Essex's Ideal veg mix N-P-K-Mg, Target:
4.5-1.4-3.6-1
This doesnt even atempt to cover chelated happenings as wilkopedia wont even atempt to give math for this at a unknown temp, let alone my tiny brain understanding all this stuff for a £20 homemade nute to feed me weed if you feel this is important buy a brand name complete organic nute and hope the company who made it knows and understands these principles!
now to work out what I can from the organic ingredients I have...
VitalEarth's - Chicken poo,
Sourced from happy hens! (lets hope that helps, lol)
4-3-2 (+trace elements and humus)

iodine 0.1%
Wilko's - Seaweed plant food,
0-0-1 (60 trace elements, growth hormones and disease control properties)
Total Potassium Oxide (K20) 1% (0.8% P)
unknown quantities of so many trace elements and unknown bio-stimulants its just a "magic ingredient" and I wont go into it, lol
So we got all the info to start the mix, we only want the water soluble elemental minerals percentage.
so we was after (N)4.5-(P)1.4-(K)3.6-(Mg)1 (little play with excel )
PARTS LIST BY WEIGHT.
Parts - ingredants - N P K Mg - total N total P total K total Mg
10 - Chicken poo - 4 1.3 1.6 0.6 - 40 13 16 6
3 - fish,blood & bone - 5 2.1 5.3 0.16 - 15 6.3 15.9 0.48

total 104 34.1 80.78 22.63
as a ratio N-P-K-Mg 4.5956 1.5068 3.5695 1
so we was after 4.5-1.4-3.6-1
and we got 4.6-1.5-3.6-1
So Lets look into the mix. this is the elemental particals by weight,
Essex's veg tea,
MAJOR ELEMENTS,
Total Nitrogen (N) 4.6%
Total Phosphorus (P) 1.5%
Total Potassium (k) 3.6%
SECONDARY ELEMENTS,
Total Magnesium (Mg) 1%
Total Calcium (Ca) 4.7%
Total Sulphur (S) 4.2%
MINOR AND TRACE ELEMENTS,
Iron (Fe)
Manganese (Mn)
Copper (Cu)
Zinc (Zn)
Boron (B)
Molybdenum (Mo)
Chlorine (Cl)
Cobolt (Co)
Sodium (Na)
Selenium (Se)
+ the seaweed that has 48 more elements, we only know of 118 elements!
This should work for hydro and soil - PH to suitable for the medium.
Hope ya liked my findings on makin my own nutes, my babys get fed this and ya can check it out in my current grow in my signature.
Ya MORE than welcome to tell me where I went wrong again, lol
