Estimate Yield... Test your knowledge (pics)

I know this question drives people crazy... but with the weeks counting down on my first grow and the suspense driving me nuts, I thought I would put together pics and variables and wonder what others more knowledgeable than I would estimate on yield on a grow this far along. It will be fun! I will update the thread afterwards with the actual dried yield.

  • 7 plants
  • 48" X 24" X 60" grow tent with reflective white inside
  • 400 watt HPS light
  • 2.5 feet tall
  • multiple tops on 3
  • Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil
  • 1 gallon pots
  • Miracle Grow Organic Choice nutes every 7 days

7 plants looking to be around 3 feet or so at the end?

1-2 oz per plant, 7 plants.

Yea, your looking at just under a LB, assuming everything goes well during flowering.

So yea, expect 7-14 ounces total.

with 1 gallon pots you are not going to get the yield you want. 1 gallon per foot. I would say 4-5 ounces altogether

ima say 7oz. because its your first grow. i doubt anyone gets the full potential of a plant on their first grow. but i'd say you could get up to 14 as superbak3d suggested

I would say go with 3 gallon pots. Unless you are growing monsters go with 5. It all depends on how many plants you have.

Next time I am losing the tent and lining the walls of the room with mylar and upgrading to 2 600 watt lamps.
