Euforia 6 DIY aero 6 soil 600w HPS

i actually started these about 3 weeks ago cloned from a female euforia plant who is now a small shrub i started getting rust brown spots on a few of the leaves and determined it to be a Mg def. so am treating with CalMag i was running a watering schedule of every 4 hours but after some research have decided to run it 24/7 i have some pics of what will be my bloom area after monday hoping to finish my veg room soon, so i have 6 in Fox Farm Ocean Forest and seem to be doing really great but the growth of the aero clones is noticeably more

a little more about my space i have a 4x7x7 room for blooming taken out of a 10x10x7 total growing area i have a carbon filter and fan cooled 600w HPS light with an enhanced spectrum bulb i have my fan mounted to the ceiling using some cut pieces of rubber hose as shock absorbers i have a light mover that moves the light back and forth for about 5 ft

Feeding with GH 3 part micro grow and bloom using printed feeding on bottle but running aero pumps 24/7 plants seem to love it and growing much faster than the 6 soil plants that actually receive more light because they are about 7 inches higher up than the aero setup.

I've got 4 Euforia on the go myself, so I'd be interested to see how you get on.

I have 2 @ 4 weeks flower in coca, manual feed.

I have 2 @ 2 weeks flower in coca, wick water feed (passive hydro).

I also have a Blueberry that is 4 weeks flower, but that's a filler.

I'm growing in confined space, 2.5 sq ft total, under 250W HPS.

I have them all tied to utilise as much light as possible. I was told they grow to about 3' but they must have been doing something wrong IMO.

Using Canna food following recommended PH and EC as per data sheet.

Keeping humidity between 40%-50% and canopy temperature at 24c and soil about 26-27c.

This is my first grow, so I'm not straying too far from the instructions before I start experimenting too much.

I'm intending to use 3 clones for next grow. Bubble pot on each should increase growth all round from what I've been reading.

Anyway, good luck with the grow and if I can help or advise, I will.

wow im really glad to find someone growing the same strain i hope we can compare notes ill post new pics often i would def. like to see how big your plants get. i was told when i got this strain that it flowers in about 7 weeks and in a SOG method should be flowered at about 12-16 inches my metric math is not great but its like 30-40 cm i have some documentation on the strain found in "The Big Book of BUDS" volume 2 by Ed Rosenthal. it reads " 80/20 sativa / indica up, active buzz floral taste 63 day bloom indoor end oct. outdoor 25-30g indoors 7-9 oz outdoor so I'm assuming that it can grow to a pretty big size to produce 7-9 oz outdoors but i will be happy with 1 oz / plant here are some new pic taken just a few minutes you can def. see the difference between the soil (fox farm ocean forest) and the hybrid aero system i build

You can really tell the difference with the hydro! Looks like an extra weeks growth and they look a damn sight healthier too. :hump:

I've got some photo's that I'll put up later, but I put 'em in flower too early really. :cry:

I've read somewhere that they don't like being topped, even in veg stage. But the way the side shoots extend, if you tie like me, you don't need to top 'em, trust me!

You can tell the Indica influence with the fan leaves. Speaking of which....

I've noticed that the bottom (1st) set of fan leaves on the 2 x 4wk are starting to look a little sickly.

Is this expected or is it a sign of a problem?

Bought an air pump for the bubble pots but I don't think it's powerful enough for 2 pots. What a waste of £20! (Will use it to keep my food and water aerated.)

Like I said, I'll sort through the photo's I have and post 'em later.

i want to start flowering in a day or so but i have a kush plant coming that i grew from a seed a friend of mine was sexing it for me so i wouldn't have to sacrifice my grow to a potential male plant he is bringing it to me today so i can check it, it has been in bloom for just over a week now and he tells me the signs to tell are there he just doesn't know what the are so I'm hoping that i can be blooming some kush along with my euforia girls.

i really like your idea of using some pvc and just wrapping the outside in mylar for a grow space i actually built 2 rooms in my house just for that purpose (i think i went a little over the top) but keep me posted I'm going to decide today exactly when to bloom only problem I'm having is i really don't have a finished space to keep my momma in veg if i start blooming so i guess ill have to get on that today great pics man keep me posted and like i said any advise anyone has i will willing accept as long as its good for my plants.

UPDATE: kush plant was male so i had to sneak up behind it while it was sleeping throw a garbage bag over its head drag it to the back yard and beat it with a bat until it told me where my money was.....It didn't talk.

I know you said you wanted some pictures so I've got some updated photo's.

I've untied them all 'cos the main cola on the 28 Day Euforia are thickening up nicely I think, judge for yourself.

I've got some fading on the main fan leaves on the 4wk ladies, dunno if this is normal? (It's my 1st grow remember!) I've taken some pic's, waddya think?

Built my first bubble pot and tested today, only cost £13 altogether! And I've pre-selected the babies that are going in the two I'm using for next grow, gonna veg for at least another 4 weeks.

Anyway, here's some additional info regarding height etc; hope its of interest.

Oh yeah, the Blueberry is a top cutting off a VERY poorly Mum who died within days. (I'm smoking some now, don't like it.)

(Add 8" for pot height for all of 'em!)

Topped x4 is 14 days into flower, 15" tall.
Cutting 2wk is 14 days into flower, 14" tall. (Not topped!)
Blueberry is 28 days into flower, 18" tall - tied.
Cutting 1 and Cutting 2 are 20" tall - tied.

Keeping 'em steady at 24C - 25C and 40% - 50% humidity under a 250 HPS.

Growing in 2.5 sq ft with 48" height, currently using 24".

Using Coca and Canna food following their schedule. Well, a coupla tweaks, here 'n' there. ;-)

Any feedback would be appreciated.

wow your plants look great im really glad that i found someone growing the same strain as me because it gives me a few week look into the future for what i can expect i really appreciate it kudos my friend.

I've been told that I should look at a possible Magnesium deficiency (which I'm rectifying today) and possible pH problem.

What pH do you run at?

Anyways, off to the hydro shop, need some stuff.

yeah i was gonna tell you i almost forgot euforia seems to be really Mg hungry i had to add magic cal to my nute regiment at 10ml/gal (US) but they turned around really good i had to clip only 3 leaves out of all my plants going to drop it down to 5ml/gal now that they are well again.

because i dont have a ppm or a digital ph meter i try to keep it as close to 6 as possible its accurate to probably about +/- .2

i also use a 600w light and every reference i looked up said in so many words "More Light = More bud" my light actually brushes the top leaves on my ex-momma plant here are the pics from day 3 of bloom

I'm going to treat the magnesium problem today, it'll be interesting to see if it is indeed a magnesium problem.

Gonna get all the micro-nutrients I need in preparation for the next grow.

Will have to migrate to hydro food I would imagine if I'm using bubble pots?

I've got a digital pH and EC tester and since using them, I have noticed a massive improvement over someone using same clones but no pH/EC regulation during grow.

How long did you veg the clones?

between 6-9 days to root then another 2 weeks till the largest was about 12 in. (30 cm) now am on 4th day of bloom going to spend the night out so no new pics till tomorrow

Day 6 of bloom trimed up my plants yesturday had to cut a few leaves to make sure all the plants get light to the bud sites soil plants are moving along but the aero will not be stoped they are going at about 2x the rate of soil im posting from my iphone so ill put up the pics i took later tonight

Well, that's the end of Week 5 and Week 3 for them.

4" growth in a week on the 5wk, 6" growth in a week on the 3wk.

Just noticed the first hairs turning on the 5wk Euforia and I look to have fixed the magnesium deficiency.

Took no chances and flushed 'em with a 0.7 Ec mix of micro nutes, no food!

3 days later and they look much better IMO.

Now I've noticed a little tip burn which shows over-feeding doesn't it?

They needed 400ml of water each today, so I used 0.5 Ec water with a little added CannaBoost.

The clones are looking great! 3 of 'em set aside for next grow.

Plus I have 12 clones in rockwool now in prep for guerilla grow.

Anyway, enjoy the pic's and any comments would be appreciated.

sorry i haven't updated lately i have new pics i will post later tonight i have been working alot which happens to be a commodity in the US right now but they are just beggining to smell and are about 60cm (if i did the conversion correctly) and are looking great 2 of my soil plants are starting to have a def. ill post some pics of the discolored leaves later tonight i could really use some advise
