Ive got another surgery comming up soon to correct some issues with my spine, hops ta god it works so my pain levels can get below 10 again.
Anyways yes,ive been to rehab, several times & once my surgery heals & im off the morphine pump i will be going again, rehab has been great experiences for me & helps me greatly, anybody like me who has life long extreme pain issues needs help controling & re learning how to use their narcotics properly.
Much depends on the facility thougj, most state ordered/forced rehab programs are fuked for several reasons, they charge cut rate prices to meet state requirements, patients are criminals, wife beaters ect for the most part so the whole enviroment is fuked, more like another form of punishment than a learning tool.
Other rehab programs like the one ive attended & can hopefully attend again are fantastic, its staffed with the best minds in the field, all residents are working family people,no foodstamp or welfare suck ups who dont connect with working people just common working folk, all there to learn without negativity.
Rehab has taught me alot about the basic human thought process, taught me how drugs respond to receptors within our brain, causing a drug to become every bit important as blood to keep the body functioning at par.
In my case i take extreme amounts of opiates daily, for 25 plus years now & i can expect to take mass dose opiates the rest of my life, right along with high doses of nerve blockers.
What i use rehab every few years for is to relearn how to use my medicine properly instead of just mass doses .
If you are even thinking of doing a rehab then start investigating them, find the one that best suits your needs & make an appointment,if you want to talk more on the subject feel free to pm me & i can speak further, obviously i would not repeat one word,if you need rehab get the ball rolling,im actually looking foward to going again,it not only helps me limit my severe opiate dependance but it teaches me how to be a better person as well.
Good luck brother.
