Ever had a grow room FIRE. Please comment.

If you have ever had a grow room fire, whether it be from a dodgy light to leaving a fag/joint on something flammable.

Please give as much detail as possible, thinking of all different ways to ensure grow room safety.

I know someone who had their house burn down. No one lived there. Police got involved and a court battle that ended 2 years later with a misdemeanor settlement. The charges were insane, quite a few felonies, with no legal standing. This was a medical licensed grow.

He told me he "made his own" adjust a wing style reflectors for hps 1000's. He didn't hang it properly and it fell and had some trash on the floor.

Only a small one, was very Lucky.. .. used the cardboard sleeve to protect bulb from splashes,whilst spraying plants with Neem Oil whilst lights off Period.. well forgot to remove before Lights On.. ..ScroG was looking a bit crowded in the middle of the screen, wasn't a problem afterwards. .. .won't be doing that again in a hurry!!
