i will keep you in mind , no reason we can't take advantage of this mutation by breeding it into a stable strain

Just because its not green does not mean it cant perform photosynthesis. Also it may or may not grow out of it.....
Variegated plants grow much slower than the exact same plant of the non variegated variety...Hostas are a good example..the whit parts don't have chlorophyll therefore they are just there for looks, and don't do photosynthesis...the plant would use those leaves to store excess sugars and what not I assume...but--that might make it better for cloning...

What does? they start to turn white? That is just not true...I can take anyone of my plants and strip off all it's large fan leaves and it will just grow new green ones in..I promise

I think it is awesome looking...does that continue all the way up the plant?...like will you get partially white buds? If so I want some of that too...

Second time I've ever seen this. If you search albino marijuana there was a thread on here a couple years ago. The guy put
it through flowering and it was a female. The buds were a white light pink color. it was sweet.

Wasn't sure where else to post this but check out the pictures.

It was hard to get a good one of the bud. but its half green and half white as well. As if grows a bit more ill try to get a better picture.

Anyone ever seen anything like this?
You just invented a new strain all by yourself!

Variegation is definitely a negative trait - loss of photosynthetic pigments will never really benefit a plant, but at the same time it's a novelty and people like novelties. I've seen completely white buds, and although I've never smoked them I assume someone's interested in the bag appeal. Fuck, I'd love to have a jar of white buds just to psych people out with.

Shouldn't take more than four generations to square the recessive trait :) Provide me with a few dozen seeds and a year and a half in time and I'd be happy to offer up 100% variegated seeds for free.
