In hydro, start with root health and ph. Those are the most common.I am new to hydro and growing in general. My plant looks like this now. It looks different. Something is up. Anyone know anything?
How do the roots look?My ph is right below 6 right now. 40percent humidity. 70f. Light is a viparspectra p600 led grow light at 50 percent power. I did 1/4 strength general hydroponics flora trio nutrients and I also added botanicare hydroguard.
I believe he's in hydro.Overwatered and likely subsequent nutrient burn.
Yes, he stated first time hydro but there’s more information needed for an accurate diagnosis.I believe he's in hydro.
Edit: I just seen the rooter pic.
What is the ppm of your water before adding nutes? Have you calibrated your pH meter recently? Ever?My ppm is like 400. But I don't have the exact number in front of me at the moment
Did you read the instructions of the PH pen? They can sit on a shelf for a long time before being purchased and they will not remain accurate. It got worse. This picture is from today. I have not calibrated my ph meter ever. It is a week old. It is an Apera pc60-z. It does my ppm also. They have been on the same solution since the start. The plant wasn't aways like this. I am going to flush the roots and the the res. What should I do for nutrients? I have general hydroponics flora trio. cal mag. And hydroguard. I haven't used the Cal mag yet. Suggestions?
Did you get calibration solutions with the meter? If so personally I would check if I was going to rely on it.I read the instructions and still have them. It says that you do not have to calibrate before use. It also comes with liquid in the cap so it doesn't ruin the element.
