Everyonedoesit customer service is horrible

Has anyone dealt with everyonedoesit? Why is the customer service always incredibly slow and horrible? Why do they constantly lie? I have ordered from this site for over 2 years now and only return because I don't know where else to get legit Roor parts. I always have to wait about 3 months after sending countless emails to get my product. Right now I am having more trouble than ever.

I have read through some threads and saw there is an everyonedoesit poster here. I am hoping he can help me out. He said countless times he will help solve peoples problems with this shady site. Does anyone have any better sites or have any past experiences with this site?

My friends gave me their money to buy some stuff for them from this site because I told them it was legit. Now I don't know what's going on.... They don't understand what's going on and I can't even explain it... everyonedoesit is so ANNOYING.

lol, yah, i have experience ordering from edit, and by the sounds of it, our experiences were very familiar.. the thing i hate about edit is that they always say the item that you order is in stock when you order, then you pay for it and everything seems golden, than about 2 weeks or so later you end up getting an email from them saying that the item that you ordered was indeed not in stock, and it won't be back in stock for x amount of weeks..
i ordered a custom roor bong, which i would have understood it being out of stock as it was a custom piece and all, but oh no, they said it was in stock, only to find out later i was going to have to wait a month for it to be back in stock, which turned into more like 2 plus months from what i remember from the fiasco..
don't fret, they do seem to ship their products on the slow boat from china for the most part, and their customer service is butt, but from what i hear, most people, including myself, got what they paid for, eventually..

Firstly we are not a "shady" site, we are a legitimate company based in the UK with many employees.

With regard to your complaint, I have reviewed everything surrounding your last few transactions with us and I have also viewed the customer service interactions with you and it is clear to me that you fully understand why we are refusing to deal with you anymore.

Couple that with the website page you laced with a trojan, also lends me to believe you know why we wont deal with you anymore.

Now I don't mind dealing with genuine customers who have genuine, valid, complaints. Often times I have come on roll it up and apologised when we have done something wrong. I also realise that we are such a big company we are bound to attract the odd troll now and again with nothing better to do with their time. However I wont let someone rubbish the company when we have done everything we can to put something right even when not our fault. Which is clearly the case here.

I won't and can't, due to data protection, go into too many details Trevor, but I have sent you a detailed email which you are at liberty to publish if you wish.

This guy just called me an internet shop lifter in the email he sent me.

I ordered a Roor bowl from them about 6 months ago that cost $125 US dollars. I asked if I could have a discount on it before ordering. I was told they could give me a 15% discount and to just email them when I made my order. Well, I emailed them after I made the order and was ignored. I had to eventually call my bank because they wouldn't give me the discount, also they raised the price to $140 right after I ordered it. My receipt said $135 dollars but I was charged $150. That definitely is more than the exchange rates.

I have provided everyonedoesit consistent business over the past 3 years buying about 1,000 US dollars worth of Roor equipment. This is how I am being treated?

He said I laced the website with a trojan??? What the hell? I sent the guy a simple word document stating my issues. The word document contained 5 emails showing this site told me several misleading things. It also contained a detailed explanation about my concern with this website and how I am being mistreated.

I am a genuine customer (bought from you over 5 times, over $1000 dollars worth of items) with genuine complaints. I ordered another bowl and you sent it shattered. Now you are saying I am an internet shoplifter. This site still has another $25 of my dollars for the bowl they just sent me shattered. They won't answer my questions as to what's going on with that. I was told a week ago it would be dispatched within 24 hours.... but then they ignored me again. This site only seems to reply to you if you threaten to go to your bank.

If anyone can understand my frustration here, please help me out. I need a new website to order my equipment from. As many of you know, this site is very shady. What kind of professional business consistently misspells words a 4th grader should know?

This guy says he carefully reviewed my customer service interactions. If that were true, he wouldn't be treating me like this. I could go on forever typing about my problems with this site, but I have a life. I just really want the 2 carbon filters, bowl and diffuser I am trying to order then I never want to deal with this site ever again. I am desperately trying only because my friends have given me their money to order this for them.

Does anyone know another site that sells Roor equipment?
 
I still want to know what you mean by "website page I laced with a trojan" Sounds like you are just trying to make up stuff to make me look bad. I've never had a professional business act like this towards me.

And this is the guy who is supposed to make the site look "good". Stay away from everyonedoesit unless you can wait 6+ months to receive your product while sending daily emails. I am not saying this out of frustration. I always have told my friends this. I only return to this site because they have one of the largest selection of Roor (my favorite brand) pipes on the internet. The customer service is down right horrible. They don't even proofread what they send and it always looks like 4th grade grammar. Seriously, don't trust this site. I don't know why I would be typing all this if I was treated fairly.
 
Here are a couple emails I sent to them and they responded. One email tells me they would be shipping my bowl out within 24 hours (then I got no repsonse) Another said it would be OK to use my credit card on the website. And finally, the other email from a week ago says I could order more items without being charged additional shipping. All of these emails have been ignored this past week. Im not going to get into this on a public forum.

Here are a few facts and that will be everything I have to say on this matter. Everyone knows I am always willing to listen to reasoned debate, and if we do something wrong I will address it head on.

This website launches a trojan at you when you go there, I got sent the link, I presumed it had been done on purpose, and launch a trojan when I arrive. At no point did I say anyone had tried putting anything on a website. Maybe it was pure coincidence, either way without proof you shouldn't accuse, I was annoyed as it passed by my Anti V and was a bitch to get off. So I apologise.

You get goods, you admit you have the goods, you then charge your credit card back for the goods. Thats what happened. I dont know what else to say about that either. Thats not a LIE thats the facts of the matter.

I am just saying that any problem that is now being talked about has been caused by your own actions. I have agreed to speak to you tomorrow on the phone and clarify the exact position viz a viz the charging back of credit cards when goods have been received.

i made the mistake of assuming you meant a site of yours, either way u wanna split hairs, it still sounds like you're accusing this guy as being the reason your machine ended up with a trojan. and while you sit there telling me not to jump to conclusions, did u not do the exact same thing by accusing this guy of infecting your machine based on some knee jerk reaction? nobody is perfect, and i'll gladly admit my mistakes.


if trevor took the product and tried to remove the charge on his credit card, then he's a scum bag, and should be blacklisted from your company, plain and simple.

but regardless, you should keep in mind that your customers and potential future customers read these boards and arent looking for accusations while making an order.
 
I took the product and it was fine. I only called my bank because Everyonedoesit had promised me a 15% discount on the bowl before I ordered it. They told me to email them after I made the order so they could issue me the 15% discount. After making the order, they acted like they never said anything.

Everyonedoesit is saying they never got my money. This isn't true. I just had to call my bank to confirm things. My bank issued a charge back only because the site refused to give me the 15% discount I rightfully deserved. The site proceeded to give me my 15% discount after my bank called them.

In July, my bank took the money back from my account after talking with Everyonedoesit. Everyonedoesit NEVER charged me back any money. Keep in mind this was my banks money THE WHOLE TIME. So basically, this guy is calling me an internet shop lifter because they had to give me the discount I rightfully deserved.

Now this guy is saying I stole $150 of their money, I'm an internet shoplifter and I gave him an outdated virus. Seriously? I'm just trying to order a Roor diffuser, a couple carbon filters, and this snake pit bowl I ordered a month ago, then I never wanna deal with them again. Check out this snake pit bowl they shipped me shattered a month ago:

James still can't explain that one to me or why they never respond to my emails regarding my refund. They said the bowl was in stock last week and they would dispatch it in 24 hours. Now I'm being blown off as usual. That being said, don't make your judgments on this site until I talk to James tomorrow on the phone.

My bank proceeded to debit the money back from my account.

Everyonedoesit account department seems a bit unorganized and is now supposedly searching thoroughly through their early July records. James says my bank is full of sh**. I am POSITIVE that everyonedoesit never lost any money throughout this entire process (other than the 15% discount they eventually gave me). Right now, it comes down to either trusting my bank or everyonedoesit.com..... I definitely trust my bank. Long story short, James says he's going to give me a free Roor diffuser if I end up being right about all this.

James also assured me he was going to ship the bowl I ordered a month ago (the one that is shattered in the picture) today. He said he would make sure he had one of his best packagers ship it. I still haven't gotten any sort of dispatch confirmation, so I'm doubting this ever happened.

What keeps a distributor in business is their turn-around-time.

And it sounds like they are doing their best to resolve the issues. Your broken glass piece most likely was not their mistake, but rather shipping.

That presents a problem for them, they would have to either back-charge shipping or absorb the loss.

Hope all works out.

we have absorbed the loss and sent a replacement for a fairly expensive bowl free of charge, we always do. no excuses.

it was a fairly rare glass piece and just took a little extra time to come back into stock because he had the last one!

As for all the other stuff, I dont lie, and we have lost $150 to a chargeback. If you chargeback dont be surprised if a company is not the friendliest to your requests for help. It really puts a strain on things as we are the injured party. We've lost product and money. A double whammy.

Having said that I STILL replaced the broken piece from this last order.

So I think we have gone more than an extra mile to be honest.

your are completley right it was a terrible coincidence, that the only other site to this one with a complaint about this also happened to put a trojan on my pc. So I apologise I had no proof and jumped to conclusions ;).

Agreed, but I wouldnt call him a scumbag in this instance I think it was a genuine naivety regarding how credit card companies work and how the chargeback system works.

I hope future customers do read this and get my email jamesATeveryonedoesitDOTcom and therefore know that no matter how unsavoury the complaint I will address it head on in a truthful and hopefully amicable way.
