Realized I got a name wrong - it’s Cobb Vanth, not Vance. It feels like lisping saying that but he’s a cool character. It was pretty badass when he took out the Pykes earlier and then just kicked the chest of spice over into the sand.
Pretty sure he’s going to recover fine after rewatching the duel scene.
Ralen got winged in his final gun duel too on Justified, but he still won that duel, just lost his hat. Vanth definitely lost the duel but should live to fight another day.
Disney is definitely milking Star Wars for all its worth, Obi Wan is coming too as is an Ashoka series.
But, it’s entertaining and so far both Mandolorian and Boba Fett are more satisfying than the last trilogy of movies. One more episode then back to waiting for the next season of Mandolorian.
I do like the weekly drops compared to the Netflix style of releasing a whole season all at once. My kids like to binge though.

That’s a wrap for season 1 of The Book of Boba Fett. More Mando and Baby Yoda in the season finale. Not sure how Grogu talked R2-D2 into flying him across the galaxy, but R2 has always had a slightly independent streak. Din Djarin was happy to see him.
Pykes are right up there with Storm Troopers for having exceptionally shitty aim most of the time. Boba Fett is a bad ass when the chips are down too.
Vanth’s fate was left unclear until a final mid-credits scene. We are a little sad that the show is done for now, we may have to watch either Empire Strikes Back or ROTS this weekend.
