Evil's Transition to Hydro (Finally)

Got some well needed sleep last night for once. Up and at it early today, smoked a joint of some Fookies @BobBitchen this stuff is fire will be popping some more beans in the near futurte when things settle down with the new changes. Flower tent (what's left) cruising along, and off right on time. I peeked in on the veg tent and all is well. Sprayed down the 2x2 F&D tray in the closet, the veg tent, and the outdoor veggies with the Rhizo spray I mixed. Everything is looking good outside we are suppose to get some rain the next couple of days.

The closet is looking great and the plants are all holding up well. Stupid easy to keep up on this. The big bush is three cuts in #1 pots Blood Diamon OG, Susy Q, and Peach Puree, and in the back row are my (6) Auto Gorilla testers that I made last run, a tomato plant I had sprouted from seed, and my Sour Hound Auto Fem that I made last run as well. The two cuts I took that are in my make shift dome are still alive and green we shall see what happens lol.

I'm very happy with how the cuts have come along as they came to me pretty yellow and hungry like this not too long ago, pics were taken 03/24/2018 a couple days after receiving them they were worse out of the box lol

Tagging you three because you're the vert guys I know and chat with around here but want to discuss this out in the open in the thread if that's cool.

I am having concerns (preliminary) about the loss of height I will incur switching the flower tent to hydro. I will have to double check my math but it's looking like 3 ft max height with the plants touching the raptor hoods............... you guys know know I like running bigger plants hence why I only do 4 plants per 4x4 tray.

How could I do a "vert" grow to best use this space that would not be difficult to setup and let me basically grow to the top of the tent?

Could I possibly angle my hoods on opposite corners and let her rip? I love the spread of the raptor hoods, but is bare bulb vert also an option for this 4x8 space with (2) 600 watt HPS...........

Let's get the brains together and figure something out here...........if not then what just top the shit out of everything and keep em 3 foot?

Not looking to buy new lights (for once lol) so ideas need to be based on what's on hand. HPS/Blue MH (600w) or Single COB engines............

I might entertain DIY strips for side lighting was thinking of lining the poles of the tent with some..........

Long day again doing the little things we fall behind on sometimes running a perpetual. Just a lot going on behind the scenes in prep to swap the 4x8 to hydro after this current run. I'm going to start working on the empty side first soon, just waiting on parts to arrive.

Organized my new nute regimen, slowly ridding myself of stuff here I won't use anymore etc. Not pictured is the MKP powder. The Nova Green is two bottles the one in the back of the two is their Silica. I re purposed the Canna bottles for my A and B formula because they have a nifty measuring system built into the bottles at the top makes life stupid easy for me to top off and quickly squeeze out 5ml's etc.

Finished up some trimming of the last batch that's been dry and curing. Needed to final trim this for my head stash. This Purple Gorilla is just fantastic stuff guys wow. The trim will be going to use for oil I will be making in the near future.

Got into the closet and pulled out the 3 cuts that are blowing up and did some defoliation. It's packed and humid and I want them to have good air flow in there and be nice and healthy. Also checked in on the tomato and my auto seeds that are going in the back, I will be taking cuts off of the three bigger girls soon as they come back from this defol today

I also topped off the res in veg and set the PH to where it needs to be after adding the appropriate amount of nutes. Today we left it at 1.1 EC and pH 5.8. Later tonight I will check in and water the flower tent under the HPS and check in on things there.

The outdoor veggies look good nothing is showing signs of transplant shock or droopy and there has been light rain and overcast skies which is perfect to get these plants going.

I took a shot of the tomato and the auto's while the three girls were out. The bigger plant is my Sour Hound Auto and I stripped all 4 of the bigger fan leaves and topped it to get it going now i love this strain and grown it many times and she loves the training

So.....I'l shoot an update again later with the flower tent and the HPS, I am getting a crazy idea but I think it would work better we will see........welcome to my world of madness growing, I can only promise you one thing if you follow along, you will never be bored LOL. Some of my regulars can vouch for that......

Yes brother it is. I have been in this location for over a year now and have been able to observe what is what with rh and temp and the source water .This has been a long time coming. Why would I waste money on an R/O setup to give me what I have now?
