Exactly 3 weeks and 1 day into 12/12, First Time SCROG.

So i got my Purps (Purple Kush x White Widow) strain in a 3x3 tent with a 600W air cooled HPS
(yes i know a 400W is recommended for a 3x3)

This is my first scrog, custom built frame about 2 and a 1/2 feet from the ground, 2" chicken wire and some zipties.

i am in Soil as usual and am using GH nute system.

i am unsure how long i vegged but it wasnt all that long, these were all clones.

I appreciate that DelQ, i have been slowly choosing a mother from 20+ phenos i am down to two different for my mothers my most potent and my highest yeilder, my next one will be even more dialed in, and i might mix up some of the bc sweet tooth i got mixed in.

I am also strongly considering pollenating some of the lower popcorn buds with some BC juicy fruit and or some BC sweet tooth as i have just harvested some Pollen from these two strains.

Sounds like that would be a great combo.. Would the lower buds work or do you need a bigger stronger stem of buds to pull that off. also your grow is going real good. Have you ever tried to back off the nuts at all. I.m thinking about taste of your harvest. Your growing some tasty plants. It seems like a good flavor is what your after, So I know you know this already, but the more orgo you go the better that flavor will come though,,, I'v seen people grow great plants like (Light of Jah) and yes it would kick your ass, but it would burn your throat real bad.. it would be a shame to have BC juicy fruit and BC sweet tooth to burn your throat,, so with all the trouble you went though getting these perfect, It looks like your close to getting some of the best tasting weed out there.. keep up the great grow..

I have a few lower buds that will produce a sufficient amount of seeds to get a female out of, just with a scrog it will be hard not to pollenate everything so i might just wait and do an entire plant so i have a massive amount of seeds. I will have some pollen stored away and it should survive till i can get a suitable plant to pollinate.

my purps strain as it has a fruity pebbles like smell it gets kinda piney smelling when its ready for harvest, and is super smooth (when cured) and keeps you buzzed for a while.

GH is a salt based nute but if you have healthy clones, when you transplant them to bigger pots for flowering is when i start nutes, there is very little need to give them more nutes since the clones taken will have a build up of nutes when they are taken (in veg state) so it keeps my soil from getting PH imbalanced and changing the flavor and reducing the need to flush.

Organic is really only good for certain strains in my opinion i have had some good tasting ones and some that taste like dirt (no joke)
I have my own soil mix (nothing special)

I am just on a mission to create some new smoke that no one else has, i might back cross and see what type of phenos come out of it but thats all for the future, planning on Purps being the "stoned" product and Sweetooth x juicyfruit should be a "energetic high" both of which should be fairly tasty .

Still kind of surprised no one else has given me feedback, i am curious any suggestions are welcome.
