Exactly how bad is harvesting early?

Long story short my plot was found and all my plants are gone :( I have a single seed left. Its not even femmed. Its a freebie from herbies and has an 11 week flowering time. First frost where I live is about oct.15 so I know I would have to harvest 3-4 weeks early because its already almost august and the plant wont start budding
(if its even a female) until its mature enough. So would it even be worth it? At this point I would be happy if I got something smokeable.

you'll not only suffer on the yield but potency as well.
plus if its a seed, you're also forgetting about the germination period as well as giving it a few weeks to gain some size so you don't get a 1gram yield.

Try it, the loss of some time and à free seed should be bearable. You may get à descent harvest from à 8-9 week plant.

Waste of time. Pulling a midget plant that had no veg time and immature trichs is a waste.

Place an order with Herbies or SoS for some 60 day autos. That's your only realistic option for starting such a late outdoor grow.

so I should just ditch the idea with this seed? I was going to order some autos but only thing is I have no credit/debit card. When I ordered off herbies I did so with a money order. Should I still try and see what happens? I guess if they dont get here in time, I have some extra beans for next year..

Do you have any idea who ripped your plants? I would be on the war path looking for those fucks.
I think it was some sort of law enforcement. Literally nobody knew I was growing. I think it was law enforcement because everything was gone and the spot was like leveled. They tore down all the natural vegetation and everything around it. Its just confusing because it was so deep into the woods. no trails no nothing near it. Idk how they found it.

Are you serious? going from seed to 8 weeks is not going to be a decent harvest at all......
by the time it germinates and even starts to flower, you will have maybe 5 weeks left for it to finish.

Seriously, this is the time of year when deer hunters are scouting. Looking for trails, doe beds, buck scrapes and rubs. You don't want them around, but they don't want you around either. They don't want your smells around their blinds. Especially when you're chopping plants in the middle of their rut season. Check for tree stands in your area.

and 5 weeks would get me absolutely nothing? at this point if I got a joint i would be happy lol. I have all this extra stuff left over like soil and stuff so I wouldnt be paying anything to grow it, but if it really really wouldnt be worth it then I wont

indoor, if you are desperate you can smoke them when you see a reasonable amount of resin

with most strains anything from 5-6 week onward is ok , it will do the job when you have little or nothing else
potency is pretty good imo, flavor will be lacking with younger bud, i prefer the thicker more oily taste when it is fully mature

peace

damn so i might not get any type of harvest this year then..fuck man.
Like I already said... You can still start 60-70 day autos for outdoors. Check your timelines...

july 25: buy international M.O. at walmart
july 26: mail order to Beanbank
july 30: Beanbank receives and processes order
august 12: you receive auto beans
august 14: auto beans crack and dropped in soil
august 16: beans sprout
october 16: harvest before mold season kicks in

you're welcome
