If I had a nickel for for every (proto-) MAGA super-genius who told me I should do my research, I could buy a fucking car…maybe even a new one; and in 40+ years since the ‘Reagan revolution’, not ONE of the darlings has shown even a glimmer of a hint as to what real research actually involves (esoterica like debugging your sources, for one - investigating your own side, for another)
