These are the leaves I was cutting hence experiment. I’m not going to touch the defoliation topic.exposing all the little leaves attached to the buds, which I believe function to grow the buds.

Probly wise. Defoliation and flushing are touchy subjects here as they have uses, but they aren't useless, just usually over used. I personally might try to let a bit more light in, that's only needed with excessive veg growth. Hope that didn't put a target on my backThese are the leaves I was cutting hence experiment. Reminds me of what my Cindy 99 looked like. Ugh what a mess she was to trim. Good luck.I’ve got a few grows under my belt now, at least enough that I have a general sense of what I’m doing, but haven’t seen this yet.
These buds are overwhelmingly leafy on this plant. For people who have been doing this longer, I wonder if someone could give me a take on whether there is likely to be some decent bud under that mess or am I going to trim away and find underneath all of that leaf the mystery surprise is a stem?

Thanks. I’m dreading it not only because it’s so leafy but because this sugar candy strain is notoriously sticky. I may need to smoke all the scissor hash just to make it through the process. How was your yield in the end?Reminds me of what my Cindy 99 looked like. Ugh what a mess she was to trim. Good luck.
