whats wrong with 6.5 then, bang in the middle
Nothing..its perfect or close to it. But then a grower may have problems with Cal Mag (lots do). Adding Dolomite Lime adds Cal mag (thats what it is as Im sure you would know) and everything else is picked up at over 7s. So your in the zone with Cal mag in the soil and you wont have to PH through out the grow.
Set and forget type of deal.

The chart you posted is for grows in soil. Soil acts as a buffer for ph. I am growing in peat moss, which is treated like hydro for ph purposes. 5.5 - 6.5

That was actually an eye opener for us, bobtokes and luckyluke.

Ive been trying to my PH around 6 this whole time . At this point, well into flowering, woukd you suggest just supplementing with calmg/PHup and using the dolomite lime on the next run?

My clones will need a new home in a couple weeks.

Im in your situation as well, im 2 weeks into flowering for my Indoor. And have been using Epsom salts for the Mag.

Ill be giving the Dolomite Lime a run next grow for sure. I have also added it to my gorilla holes that will be planted in a months time.

Picked up some PH Up yesterday - let food/water balance and adjusted to 7. Run off was a little over 6 - ill keep easing the higher PH into the soil and see what happens. Cheers
