Any tips? It’s all about the dry and cure, growing is the easy part
I only have one dry under my belt and it is only two weeks into cure. So far it is going great. Guess only tips I have are don’t dry too fast, or you’ll Be smoking some potent hayAny tips?
Remove the fan leaves, cut the plant down, and hang it whole for about 7-10 days. Then break it down into individual buds and put them in a large paper bag for another 4-7 days. Stir the buds around every day a little and when they are ready to smoke and will burn nicely put them in jars for storage/cure.Any tips?
Thanks for the reply! It would suck to have some great looking but hay tasting! I'm going to try this I have a cardboard box with a hole cut in the side for drying! I'm going to try the paper bag! Last plant I cut taste good but smelled a little like sweet hay? I dried it then put it straight into the jar!Remove the fan leaves, cut the plant down, and hang it whole for about 7-10 days. I’ve dried many harvests over the last 14 years. I tried lots of drying suggestions early on to find what worked best. I’ve never gotten better tasting bud with less hassle then with this process.
If it dries too fast before jarring, it could still smell like hay. I use cheap RH meters, and am burping to bring it down slowly. Hay smell and taste almost gone after 2 weeksI dried it then put it straight into the jar!

Hey kingrow1 thank you, it seems its easier than all the other tricks and what not that I have been reading about? Just hang it to dry in a open room for around two weeks and Wallah no more hay for me! I'm going to try this out!If hung naturally it cannot dry too fast and cells take a few days to release moisture unless forced which is the only way to dry faster than naturally.
Ignore burping just dry properly and its ready for long term storage - legal and rec can talk crap all day long, black market needs to know this stuff or you dont get paid and most likely beat up or pushed of a first floor window, depends how bad you fucked up
So, somebody living in Arizona with no humidity during 120 degree days should just hang in a room with windows open and naturally dry? That’s just retarded. I agree with most things you have to say except thisIf hung naturally it cannot dry too fast and cells take a few days to release moisture unless forced which is the only way to dry faster than naturally.

Are you saying that good, black market weed isn't usually cured? Is it just dried in open air, then done and ready?legal and rec can talk crap all day long, black market needs to know this stuff or you dont get paid
