im working on my exhaust system for a closet build and i have 3 fans. i have a 178 inline can fan with a matching can filter, a 265 active air squirrel cage fan (noisy), and a little 6 inch inline duct fan. i need to use these fans to cool 2 400 watt Cool Tubes. and exhaust and clean a closet just about 40 sq Ft.
i have a few options, i was going to setup my exhaust with the can fan and filter straight to the attic, then set up the two Cool Tubes connected together with the 6 inch duct fan in between and an independent intake so the smell dose not get out, ill use the squirrel cage to exhaust the attic as well.
i want to start by hanging the can filter and connecting the can fan to it, then i going to split the air flow into two, use one as a cooling/airflow vent by running a duct so it blows air across the plants. and the other connected to the opposite side of the squirrel cage fan, that way no smell will escape through the exhaust plus im thinking it will help the squirrel cage fan on the other side, im still gonna exhaust into the attic, this will save me from running two ducts through the ceiling and also give my can fan multiple uses. i think its the best way. and i was just going to use the small 6 inch duct fan as an intake.
im asking of my new plan has any flaws. do any experienced growers know if im making some sort of air flow mistake. of if it wont work for some reason im not aware of
