My cabinet measures 30in wide x 18in deep x 37in tall. I bought a 6in inline duct fan to cool it, but it doesnt seem to be doing anything. Ill include a pic, but I have since removed the intake fan and cut 4 more intake holes from the bottom.
Temps are about 93F. I put a bowl of ice, that may last for 3 hours tops, and it went down to 88. Temps in the room are about 77, but looking to get that lowered with some of those fancy heat blocking curtains.
I dont know what the problem may be. It seems like the fan is blowing air from both ends. maybe its because the exhaust pipe isnt straight?
Is this a lost cause?
should I invest in some PC fans? Would they be enough to circulate the air sufficiently?
Ive pretty much run out of money and if anyone could help me figure this out with the supplies I already have I would really appreciate it!
