Exhaust Setup Questions

So I need to setup an exhaust for my grow room.

The space is a 375^3 area, currently running one 1000w and one 400w (soon to be replaced by another 1000w) in a 5x10 foot area.

The question is, should I go with this setup.

- 447 cfm inline fan 6"/Carbon Filter (420CFM)
http://www.progressive-growth.com/proddetail.php?prod=fan-filter-combo6&cat=47

It looks good because it should easily be able to replace the air every minute.
But what I'm really looking for is a setup that is expandable, eventually I plan to double the space to 700 cubic feet (10x10) running 4 x 1000 watt lights. So the same inline fan should be effective as well replacing the air roughly every 2 minutes. That is just fine for my conditions.

So can you still run an exhaust system like that with 4 lights? On that website it says for 1-2 lights.

What kind of setup would you recommend for my current space (375^3) taking into account I'd like to double the space for my next grow. Can I use that setup or do I need to set it up a bit?

i think you will be fine for now and will probably be ok in the future as well. I wouldn't go with a bigger carbon filter as you will use it up in a year anyways. If at that time you can buy a bigger filter and an additional online fan to drive it if you found you need more cooling.

Be sure to plan as an effecient run of ducting as possible with the bigger room

Hoped this helped

Yeah, I think this setup will be fine. My only concern is if it will be able to support 4x1000 watt lights. But I don't see why not, as long as it is exhausting the appropriate cfm. Although I may have to upgrade/replace the carbon filter and possibly add a new inline fan as recomended by legallyflying.

As far as the ducting run goes, I'll follow the advice from

Scrog, those fans look like exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm too sketch to order online to my house. So the hydro store is my only option. But with a deal like that I'm reconsidering.

Also, I have taken into account the loss of CFM for the carbon filter. I plan to not use it unless I'm flowering/its obviously smelly. But the whole exhaust setup is a little bit overkill anyway, so I think Ill be ok.

Thanks guys I'm off to the store.
