I can’t speak on flowering but I’ve vegged with both. The led Shown is the viparspectra 136 (or so) watt actual. An Hps dimmed to 400 watts. The leds blow the hps out of the water for me. They grow much healthier overall under the leds. I’ve wanted to purchase an led for the flower side for the longest but can’t decide which one. I’m constantly reading amazon reviews and going through the forums I haven’t pulled the trigger just yet on anything but I would/will

This is the first time flower in hydro. I’m growing the exact same genetics as last go around only difference is soil and hydro. With that being said I will never buy a bag of soil for my garden again if I can help it. Week 6 of flower in hydro and my room absolutely reaks of foul musty buds. Size and density are insane and we’re only in at wk6. So imho hydro blows soil out of the water in ever aspect. I guess knowing exactly how much of what nutrient your plants are getting and needing at those specific times makes a HUGE difference in quality. I wish now I had saved all of these genetics. Can’t wait for this next harvest

my question is would I be able to plug a sf4000 into it assuming the sf was converted to 240?

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the HLG550 should be here next Tuesday for my next run. Hope to see good things.

Alright about a week later I’m almost done hanging lol I’ve been busy with yard work and business. Alls good tho really enjoying the smells that are coming out of these babies this go around. Room is holding a constant temp of 66-69 and humidity at its lowest point in room 55 - highest point 61 which seems to be really slowing this dry down which is what I’m after.

I’m planning to cut my system by 2/3rds leaving just the center 3 buckets and just scrogging 3 plants. Idk I’m smoking a hash n flower joint by myself right now in the garden thinkin real deep1602989817289.jpeg
