So farming, I get to try a lot of things, and formulate what I can't get, and if it works on cantaloupes, well maybe it works on cannabis.

So, anybody got experience with any of these:
general PGR (Gibb+Kinetin+IBA) this is common, sometimes I formulate them independently, for example, too hot for turnips to grow roots? IBA 'em! Getting leggy? Kinetin. you get the idea, sometimes as a bandaid, but together as a booster.

Exotic PGRs (like) (Forchlorfenuron) if you ate kiwis or grapes you ate this.
Humic Acid (in its Various Formulations) think "peat water"
Mepiquat (pix) The chinese keep putting this shit on everything, think cancer time! Just wonder if anyone was dumb enough to do it.
GABA (Amino acid) + L-Glutamine (Amino Acid like MSG, without the salt)
Emerald Bio made a product with these and idiots caused it to be pulled because oh noes MSG, ((long story I tried to license this one for production, and they literally told me F off, and are worthlessly holding the patent.)) **The plant likes not making amino acids you provide, those darn lazy plants! (no residue)


This is stuff I have played with for years off and on experimental, the pix is probably the only one I would say is dangerous to health, and I really haven't used it but once without much experience, as I did not try but once. Just curious if anyone was that 'gung ho" I know one of hte other quat chlorides was being used by the Aussie for that nasty junk weed.

with everything else on this list (other than pix) I can make a 83 day melon from seed in dirt to market with a passable brix in 63 days, with a yield 4 times average in my controls. It sure as hell works in melons.

I'm thinking a general PGR early with a amino acid application 3 times would give a really booming product.

I think PGR late is fairly risky, but alas no experience. I am less interested in an ethics debate, and more about pros and cons from a growing point of view. The label rates are relatively safe for most of these, with very short pre Harvest intervals for food.

i know gibb will make pumpkins grow like a motherfucker, and i've used triacontanol and brass with no ill effects on food and weed. i do try to stay away from the more exotic pgrs, not because i think they're particularly dangerous, but just because i'm ignorant to their applications, and it's usually pretty hard to find any useful documentation, but i've used all of this stuff with varying degrees of success, and no third eyes sprouting, and no appendages falling off

Cool side note, gibb is used to pollinate blueberries in bad weather, I have used it in seedless melons multiple times to get good pollination. Also you can wash melons of all types with a very low ppm (don't remember maybe 100) and it will give them some shelf life allegedly. I quit that and fungicide washes because I didnt think it was very food safe. But gibb is very useful. I suspect a late foilar on flower could cause some very undesirable or desirable pollination scenarios, possibly diploids. Not sure without research, just saying. Gibb is kinda the holy grail sometimes

I just honestly don't buy into any of this "organically grown" horse shit at all either... Shitty small organically grown plants compared to Hydro bigger plants, and the critters are eating the shit in the soil to make the same fucking raw 16 elements needed for photosynthesis directly available to the plants with dynagrow or Jacks... Foliar feed 200x aloe and coconut water throughout seedling/clone/veg cycle two weeks into flowering, then stop jacks/dynagrow at week 7 and switch to nothing but freeze dried coconut water for week 7 and then flush week 8 and its nothing but butter smooth smoke with a proper cure.

And what did Rosenthal and all the Universities say? "The bigger the plant, the higher the THC content" so why the fuck do I want to grow a fckn organically grown POS runt in bat shit when I can grow a single cannabis plant the size of a 5 x 5 tent hydroponically which according to Rosenthal and the universities, will have higher THC levels? The entire thing is not only an exercise in stupidity, but its like a fckn cult.. You're not even eating these flowers, you're smoking them for God's sakes... A bunch of Jack's raw element salts used on World Wide orange crops are going to suddenly give you terminal "cancer" ROFL.... no... they won't... gtfo of here with this "organically grown" nonsense. Fckn total bullshit. It's a balance you need to do between the two methods to finally arrive at a bomb ass product.,.... as explained above.. ^

it's very touchy, you can make a plant grow really fucked up with it if you use the tiniest amount too much, when i first experimented with it, i fucked up three in a row, too thin to support its own weight, actual holes in the stems where it grew to fast to fill them in...the one i tried to flower grew little grinspoon looking stringy buds....

There was a time in this world when it was easy to realize that what one person prefers may not be the same as the next person. Personally I learned that in about the 3rd grade. That being said continue your hydro tasting like rat shit and some of us will continue growing with our bat shit

Partial two week flush with freeze dried organic coconut water the last two weeks of flowering and not anyone on earth could tell the difference smoke-wise with a proper cure.. You're kidding yourself.
